Part of the reason that I bring this up is because I am looking at a guy who would be ineligible if this were the case. And, I think he would end up being ineligible anyway, due to his situation. But, I could argue that if these guys are allowed, then he should be, also.

Shane said if he played in 2016 would he be eligible that is a yes. It doesn't state if a player is on the roster but didn't play in 2016. Thought people said JJ Watt wouldn't be eligible if that was the case so we made it that they had to be on the 2016 roster.

Houston is under contract, has not retired and is expected to dress this week.

I know, but in past drafts there have been players who were not eligible because they were injured for the entire year and did not play. Up to this point, Houston has not played this season. Neither has Gordon.
