Any of them? I'm not saying I had a particular person in mind, it's just weird to me that Baalke (and fans although clearly that doesn't matter) never seems to care. Say we actually get GOOD QB play this year, who are they throwing to exactly?

i definitely like Buckner and Garnett, so was there a WR worth taking end of Round 4?

I doubt it and as such, don't mind improving defensive depth, over WR. This isn't saying i don't care about WR, but the draft is about adding the most talent you can. Filling needs for ONE season, is for fantasy football.

Our receivers are good enough for this season. If the line holds and the QB can throw, we're ok.

He's short and not very fast. Maybe he could be the next Russell Wilson. He's more quick than fast.

i'm guessing UDFA because if you're Adams, going to SF is likely your best chance. So from the 49ers perspective, why spend a pick?

Lets be honest guys this WR class is weak. If you didn't land Fuller, Treadwell or Coleman maybe Boyd there isn't much out there. Its a bad WR class. getting one after the 2nd rd would of been pointless. I understand just take a chance with one in the 4th or 5th but maybe they just don't like any. I thought we would go after the kid from Rutgers.

this was my first thought too. Our next chance was end of Round 4, and doubt there was any WR worth drafting.

So strengthening CB isn't so bad, we have to defend 3 WR's every game.

It is a passing league and you need CBs who can hopefully cover. A couple or more of the CBs from last season will probably not make the team.

If I were Adams, I guess I hope I don't get pick so I can choose that the I want. He is an intriguing prospect. I heard his interview with Dan Patrick and he stated that the only QB he thought was better than him in this draft was Carson Wentz.

Yep, that's the negative out of this, looks like two or all three weren't doing well enough? Johnson, Acker, and Reaser. So Baalke didn't seem to get enough out of those picks?

We can't expect all picks to hit, especially 5th and later, but if all three are gone.......

yep, he might get picked by say...Seattle?

Otherwise, he would have to want SF

Especially since the Niners didn't really have a pass rush last season except from Lynch. Hopefully with Buckner, an improved Armstead, and maybe Blair, the CBs won't have to cover the receivers for an exhorbitant amount of time.

ahhh, there went Hogan
He any good? CBS isn't all that helpful saying he is a 5th round talent level but compares to Philip Rivers

Hail to the Chiefs. He could succeed Alex Smith. It's Kaep or Gabbert at the helm. It's going to be a bumpy ride.

yep, but as it turned out, no way to fix it this off season. free agency was weak, and two teams mortgaged the future for #1 and #2.

Another Tackle. Ok so we will have some battles on the Oline and between the CBs. Some one tell baalke we have other positions. I think he knows Thomas and Martin are done.

Another OL. Looks as though maybe Martin could be gone. I hope Pears is gone.

Martin was very bad and would've been gone anyway. POOR selection by Baalke. Pears was bad too, so not surprising if he's cut early on.

Trent Brown didn't progress as far as we thought, else they wouldn't draft two OT's.

do they intend to try one of these guys inside?

I don't think this has anything to do with Brown. We still need Depth at Tackle. I think this shows Baalke doesn't care about AD and he was honest about AD doesn't change the team drafting. 3 OL so far.

Of all the NFC West teams I'd say we're in the best position to improve. Seattle is aging and has to pay Wilson now which gives them less flexibility to continue paying their other stars. They have to keep hitting on low cost draft picks to avoid dropping off.

Rams just gave up several years of their future if Goff turn out to be a middle of the pack QB or even a bust.

Cards of the 3 I think are in the best position, but they also have to be concerned with their QB position. They're a Palmer injury away from being the Rams. A great D with 0 offense. At least the Rams have Gurley though.

We might not win this coming year but giving the problems they other 3 NFC West teams will face these next few years we're in a great spot to leap over them soon.
