Maybe. I just hate wasting a first round pick on a non impact player. At best he'll be a role player.

he is suppose to be better then armstead. armstead was graded best Rookie DL last year.

I'm a Duck fan, didn't miss a game. Great pass rusher, could be better at run defense(needs to work on pad level).
He's tough off the edge, 6'8 and long. He and Arik will be good together.

Overall I give the 1st rd a B+ It would of been a A or A+ if we took a QB or Jack. Don't get me I like the stanford kid but I feel we gave up too much or we could of landed him in the 2nd rd. I understand 49ers were big fans of him and had him rated as the 2nd best guard. Instead of a 4th a 5th and 6th wold of been better. I understand not taking a QB after Denver taking Lynch. We knew Kap trade was done. so we are now stuck with him. 49ers will take a QB in the 4th or 5th now. Look out for Hogan or Prescock(might be misspelled). When I saw us trade up I thought we were taking a chance on Jack. Cook was my 2nd option because I knew we were stuck with Kap.

Overall B+ so far. Im happy overall. We improved the DL and OL today. I have a gut feeling again that we move back late in the 2nd rd. Baalke knows we need to find another starter. We have 2 so far. Both will start by year end.

yes his weakness is pad level but overall he isn't bad at the run. He is a good pass rusher for a 3-4 DE.
