Still though, I think anybody who has LeBron ranked lower than #4 on the all time list at this point is probably biased against him. There is only 1 other player in the history of the league who reigned as its best player for as long as LeBron has, and that was Jordan.

Agree. I have him at 4 behind MJ, Magic and Kareem.

Bird isn't 3-4 in the Finals.

We are not doing this again. What matters is the 3, and even that is somewhat overrated because it is a team stat.

You must be joking LOL. Pippen averaged over 20 ppg only 4 times in his career and a career high of 22.0 ppg. Lebron's career low in scoring was 20.9 ppg, his ROOKIE season. It isn't even close. Lebron has averaged over 25.0 ppg for 12 STRAIGHT seasons, Pippen never hit 25 ppg in not one season. You must be taking a good stroll down memory lane bc Lebron is one of the best scorers of all-time, top 5 all positions.
this is a joke ya know?

Pippen is not even close to top 20 of all time. Its insulting to LeBron to even mention the 2 in the same sentence. Pippen never led his team to anything- and then BENCHED HIMSELF in the biggest moment of his non-Michael career.

Damn. That's closer than I thought. Still give the edge to Lebron though.

Why? Isn't he the reigning two-time MVP? Unanimous as well.

Because the MVP award is not given to the league's best player. It is given to the most outstanding regular season performer. Big difference.

LeBron also played with MJ, remember? He was the 2nd option....but people seem to forget he was an under-rated scorer.

I agree with every word of this except the future titles.

He might get more than 1 more, but if he does, some of them may be as a complimentary player and not the lead dog. If that were the case, they would not do as much for his legacy.

Still though, I think anybody who has LeBron ranked lower than #4 on the all time list at this point is probably biased against him. There is only 1 other player in the history of the league who reigned as its best player for as long as LeBron has, and that was Jordan.

I have Lebron behind Jordan, Magic, Kareem, and Kobe/Duncan. However, I always waver with the Duncan/Kobe/Lebron order. Depends on what mood I'm in. But Lebron's in my top 5. I think not having Lebron in your top 10 is the asinine category.

yeah when you get to the top players it is close, no one is saying Lebron is a FAR better player than Bird but like you said looking at the resumes they are close and Lebron edges him...now Pippen lol, he shouldn't even be in this conversation :laugh3:

Are you, as a supposed "cavs fan" really going to lecture others about 'when it matters most' when your little team only just won their first title less than 2 weeks ago?

:susp:

Damn. I didn't know Lebron played with MJ :laugh3: You really know your stuff.

btw...PIPPEN isn't on the same level of Lebron scoring wise and it is even close.

Lebron only made the top 10 after his performance these finals. If he was 2-5 nobody would say so.
He has a long way before he's even close to top 5 though

Pippen also played with 1 of the greatest players ever.

If LeBron had played with MJ (or even Shaq).....he would have been 2nd fiddle as well.

But he didn't lol. He has always been Batman
