Boston has waaaay too many players and picks....it would be a disaster ifthey didnt make a trade...they dont even have barely enough roster spots right now...

they are gonna get trade raped but its just something they have to do.

i doubt they get blake unless they pay in a huuuuuge way.....Crowder, Smart, Brooklyn pick, hunter or rozier...etc.

Celtics have absolutely no leverage right now which is their problem...tons of assets...no leverage...

It's down to determining if it's worth the risk. If all they are risking is a 1st rounder in 2018 and filler, they would put themselves in position to be able to offer him the most money next summer.

They called about Butler, the Bulls said no.

They called about Hayward, The Jazz said no.

Nobody is giving Danny treasure for Trash.

The writer was saying that Boston was a logical destination, not that the deal has been discussed.
