Yes, Ellington is a career 37 percent 3-point shooter, but the rest of his game is so limited that he rated worse than replacement level by both ESPN's Real Plus-Minus and my wins above replacement player (WARP) ratings last season. There's a reason Ellington has played for the veteran's minimum each of the last two years. I'd rather haveTroy Daniels, a superior shooter who joined the Memphis GrizzliesSaturday in a sign-and-trade. Daniels got a three-year contract, but for less total money ($10 million) than Ellington will apparently make over two years.

So happy for Stephen Jackson, who just told me he's going to camp w/the #Warriors this fall to give another shot at playing. @DaTrillStak5

Ellington is a 1 year rental.
Who cares?
Team option next year.

Any GM with a brain would do what Riley is doing this summer.
Make sure you have plenty of space next summer, considering the circumstances.

I'll never understand why Cuban did what he did the last 2
summers.

Long term max deals to 2 players which combined might not even be enough to make the playoffs.

Steven Jackson is 38 hasnt played in basically 3 years. He only played 9 games with the Clippers his last season and he was pretty awful. Not sure how he will be better taking time off. Unless he is just going to GS to never play and try to get a ring, I'm thinking that's what this is.

So the Heat roster is just about complete with them matching Tyler. Long season ahead of us

I don't think I'd wanna pay Turner and Crabbe 140mil total over the next 4 years, but I guess there are worse ways to spend the money.

Agree. Turners looks like a really bad fit

With their lack of PG depth behind Lillard, maybe they're gonna use him off the bench as a point forward. I'd rather have Crabbe over Turner, but they chose to go for Turner right away which was surprising.
