Do you think anyone thought the salary cap would go up during this off-season ?

I read it on here ... some guy named Wiggy wrote about 1000 posts about it. You missed it ?

Of course we knew it was going up. First projections were in fall of '14 when the new TV deal was signed.

not trolling. Trolling would be me saying he sucks. I think he is a great player. I have him in my Top 10. Yes he was the best player but he was the guy they went to, to win the game. it was always another player. Its easy to see unless you are new to basketball.
dude he ended the thibs era w/ a gw

That Spurs performance was the best we've seen in a while.
Talk about clicking at the perfect time.
It would have destroyed the Warriors 2 years ago and the Cavs this year, easily IMO.
I agree best team basketball I have seen. It was great to watch and no not because it was Miami and LBJ. Spurs were 1 clutch shot from Ray allen from beating them the 1st time. Its just crazy how they dominated the heat the next year. both teams had the same players?

Saw a funny pic on FB in a sports group.....Curry and KD telling each other how to blow a 3-1 series lead.

Ingram is certainly nice but a draft pick. You can't really be happy with results given the way the front office maneuvered for all this cap space.

Nothing else was available. Top tier free agents weren't exactly knocking on the door. Luke and Mitch have signed a group of players they feel would work well in Lukes system. Until a few weeks in to the new season we don't know.

That will be is negative on his resume. Also back to back ok Finals. Nothing special. Im a big KD fan but he was always missing something. I dont know if it was him or Westbrook trying to be the man.

wiggy Cavs make enough handicap spots for this up coming season. Those players are going to need it.

If he's showing stats from ESPN.....they are notoriously well known for posting inaccuracies.

Quit making shit up.
I said Heat never offered Wade 10/1 or 20/2 and they didn't.
Isn't the story NOW that Riley NEVER communicated with Wade since July 1?
So who made the offer?

#didnthappen

Wade's wife confirmed the first contract offer was for "one half of what he made last year." ($10M)

I don't think they make any more moves which tie up money for more than just this coming season. I think they want to have one max slot available. Salary cap expectations have been lowered by $6mil for next season.

Lakers have about $9.5M left. $14M if they clear all cap holds, but one of those is for Ingram ($4.4M).

Spotrac now has 2017 cap at $102M, down from the $107-108 projections. Lakers would have about $19m (including Ingram) without cap holds.

LeBron is a great player, no question.....I just don't get the level some Cavs fans elevate him to. Damn near God status.

people said that about Jefferson last year too...he ended up playing over 30 minutes in game 7 didnt he?

we only need em for next year...some will have soemthing left in the tank...some wont...id still like for them to add a center and wing that can play D through min. contracts and the rest of the mid-level, and the rest of the trade exception....we shall see though...have a feeling that for any other major moves we will have to wait till the trade deadline and or the buyout deadline.

at least Deng will help.

LOL, all 3 will help. Mozgov is a vast improvement over Sacre and Hibbert. Deng is a big improvement over Spazzy P and can help Ingram's development. Calderon is a solid improvement over Huertas.
