10-12ppg, 9-10rpg, and 2bpg in 32-33mpg is what I expect. Double-double basically and some other experts think he can as well. Zubac can back him up.
delusional. how many guys in the eNTIRE nba had a double double last year. look at his career stats--- at age 30 hes all of a sudden going to be come way better than ever before?

it just doesnt work like that.

He could get 10/10.

But, like @tlance said, will they be empty stats?

I hate the Lakers.

But, let's be honest....

Jim Buss was selling hopes and dreams. They were never in the game for Durant, Whiteside, Batum...etc

In the long run, this really is the direction they should go.

Solid vets, let the youngsters grow.

People are over-reacting to the fact he didn't play much in the playoffs when they were going with a smaller lineup. It's not like he's getting a max deal. He is being paid for defense, rebounding and maybe 10-12ppg. He could easily get a double-double if he gets 30-plus mpg.

Please Miami trade for MDJ from the Bulls. That would make my day.

And we have 34 mill (if we just want to hit the minimum cap since we're "cash poor") to flesh out a bench.

Rondo would be a terrible fit in Hoiberg's system IMO.
He would be a good fit driving PG who can dish it out to the shooters. Yes the negative part is Rondo cant shoot the 3 so when the ball is not in his hands teams can double butler.

me to because Calderon is really bad. I would take rondo on a 2-3 year deal for about 12-15 mill a year.
2 or 3 years at 12mil per wouldn't be that bad, but with the type of contracts handed out along with his high assist numbers(with bad defense) I could see him getting a Mosgov type of contract.

Shit. I didn't realize he was that old (turns 30 in a couple of weeks). Yeah, I see Mozgov averaging 8 and 8 next season.

I can live with that if its 2-3 years. No way I would go 4-5 years.

There are many players capable of getting a double double in 30 plus minutes a night. The question is how efficiently can he do it? Guys who get stats don't always help the team win. Sometimes they even hurt it.

Mozgov has never averaged more than 7.8rpg. I'm not sure why he'd do better than that now.

OMG. Calm down.

Regardless of what was reported, it would not make sense for Gasol to return to LA.

Get better at posting, and maybe I will agree with you. It is nothing personal though.

but you DO make an excellent point. at this stage of Pau Gasol's career he's looking at the possibility of competing on a winner and having a shot at a ring before he retires...at least that's what I think...

The bold is why the signing doesn't really bother me. Players, especially top players, are looking for opportunities to win now. The Lakers aren't in position to offer that and just being the Lakers isn't enough.

The cap is only going to continue to go up. If Luke shows that he truly is the coach that most think he is and if the youngsters can continue to develop, the Lakers can go big game hunting as early as the next FA class.

I think lakers fans just want to feel good about the signing. Overall its a bad pick up. He wont help them that much. The guy is not a good player.

Dude, Lin got 12 and Tyler Johnson gonna get 10.

Gonna need 16 to get Rondo.

Nobody is happier about the Lin, Mosgov and Noah contracts than Dwight Howard and Rondo.
