money is never going to drive a decision. You mention keep for 5-6M.
I thought money wouldn't ever be a factor?
plus- if we offered him the same contract he leaves anyway- he wants to be a starter.

A year ago, wouldn't most have felt Moz was worth more then Tristan?

Thompson is infinitely more valuable for so many reasons- not the least of which is that he is just better. The one thing that concerned me about Mozgov is how his confidence would go in the tank- and hes like 7' 2" and started having knee issues. He was unplayable for the Cavs by the end of the year and was getting the Mario Chalmers treatment from LeBron. That was the one guy on this team that was 100% not coming back.I am not sure about that. Maybe They were comparable. I don't think most though Mozzy was better though. As good as Mozgov was in the Finals, Thompson played even better.
he tried to. He had to beat out Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson...good luck with that.Link?
And, he was supposed to start.
How about instead of want, go out and earn it?
Here's a sentence no one in the last 50 years saw coming....
Lakers are signing a Cleveland player so they can have some championship experience on the roster![]()
wow....just wow...lol....Here's a sentence no one in the last 50 years saw coming....

Crawford just resigned in LA for 4 years 50M......12.5M a year.
so....the Lakers have spent about 30M in cap room on Crawford and Mozgov....how much do they have left and where do they go from there?
should be interesting.
In previous seasons Mozgov was considered to be a decent player. He has been injured, is getting older, and teams are shifting away from big lumbering centers.
Well, we needed a rim protector, and Mozgov is that....but yeesh, 4 years is ALOT for HIM. 12 mill for Clarkson is a steal however
I'm thinking they may have picked him specifically to communicate with and mentor Zubac.
Wilt, Kareem, Shaq, Dwight, Bynum, Hibbert, Mozgov
err...for 4 years...?
let's hope for THAT kinda jack he passes a LOT down to this kid...
