No way on Earth that Stamkos hits UFA. If he hits the market Yzerman needs to be fired immediately.

A few names on that list, especially Staal, Ward, and Campbell are gonna take big time pay cuts next year.

That doesn't sound like Don Sweeney at all.

He'd trade a 2016 third rounder and swap first rounders at the draft for whomever is the Kings backup netminder and the rights to negotiate with Kopi before actually signing him to the 7/70.

I'll be surprised if they do. Frans will be 32 at the start of next season. The Islanders have a number of players who can play Center. Tavares, Frans, Grabovski, Strome, Cizikas, Nelson, & Bailey. However it seems like they want Strome & Nelson to play wing. They still need to sign Nelson who's a RFA. We've got Barzal in the system as well. I just don't expect Frans to be an Islander after this season.
