To make matters worse for Mexico, United States is going further than them too. USA going to semis and Mexico ain't. LMAO!!! More salt in the wound. I am Bayern fan and we do love Arturo Vidal too.

Now maybe @lasportzphan will stop proclaiming Mexico's dominance.
Wow, you're pretty consumed with me.

That said, wow. Not surprised Chile won (they did win Copa last year), but they absolutely dominated Mexico, which I did not expect on Mexico's "home" soil.

Did I overrate Mexico? Clearly. But they were coming in with a 22 game unbeaten streak including a 1-0 defeat of Chile in January. And the oddsmakers had Mexico as narrow favorites - and those dudes know more than anyone.

That said, this type of loss sets teams back. The US advanced further by defeating a solid S. American team which only adds fuel to this fire.

Stunning ass whooping, I loved it.

Was this discussed already?
Copa America 2016: Contradicting reports surface on U.S. becoming permanent home

How can anyone not think it is the best idea to have this tournament in the US every two year? :L

Makes perfect sense. Brazil is about to enter a decade or longer recession and they're the only other country in this part of the planet with the amount of stadiums to support a tourney of this size.

But the South Americans and Mexico will cry that it gives the US too much of an advantage and it will be some Yankee gringo conspiracy to horde all the money made by it. The usual from them. We'll see. Mexico especially will bitch and try to sabotage it.

Considering Mexico City is poor for the health and provides the most severe advantage, their argument carries no weight in my opinion. Pasadena is a home game for Mexico anyway.
