And this is why we beat you soccer fags up in school. Your attitude sucks.

You didn't beat anything except for your boyfriends lil' pecker. You would have got your face stomped with that sassy mouth of yours at my school.

Why can't we play that way all the time? Guys were actually running down field with purpose and shockingly, actually passing to each other in the final 3rd!

LOL...It was nice to see a match where it looked like it wasn't their first time playing together.

Wood a different player inside, but he got his ass kicked physically all game. He must have been on the ground 50 times. Looked like Costa Rico didn't like Hawaiians

I actually thought his hold up play when he moved inside was really strong.

And to add, CONCACAF (and Costa Rica carrying the torch) is extremely "hacky" and borderline bush league. This is what the Costa Ricans do, grind and hack there way through games with a five man backfield. War of attrition. This style of play is CONCACAFs answer to the US (and Mexico) evolving their game with improved talent, strategy and technique. To be fair, the US played a similar style for years. Bunker down, play aggressive and counter.

I love counter attacking teams, but not bunker and counter teams. More like the way Brazil is known for their counter attack. I thought our counter attacking was brilliant last night and has been improving overall. Costa Rica tried to go for the early knockout blow with the early pressure. They know our propensity for giving up early goals and figured they try to poach one and then bunker down for the entire game.

If they play like they did last night, they'll handle Paraguay 2-0 or maybe 2-1. I hope they don't play too conservative for a tie and allow too much pressure throughout that game. That mindset will get us beat.

Like that the games are moving farther north. Should be a very pro US crowd. Can't believe the US didn't get a game up in Seattle. We've got a huge US fanbase there.

If we win the group (highly unlikely) we'll be in Seattle next Thursday.

Seattle got hosed for sure. And idiotic because there would be thousands more US supporting fans in the stadium as well given the sounders fanbase up here compared to cities like Philly. Morons.

When you have a tourney on home turf, you need to stack the deck in your favor and you do that by ensuring you play at all of the "homer" stadiums. This Seattle oversight is awful.

Why is Haiti in the Copa?

FIFA should enact a rule moving forward: Brazil may never play Haiti. Ever. It's not fair. And in the event Brazil has to play Haiti due to unforeseen circumstances, Brazil has to play without a goalie and Haiti is spotted three goals at kick off. Maybe then Haiti has a chance.

The game of football regressed last night.

Not sure if you guys are watching but the first shocker happened tonight. Venezuela beat Uruguay which basically eliminates Uruguay who is currently first in WC qualifying in South America
