Yeah. Just watch

If this were the women's team I'd be more inclined to believe they bounce back well. Though the men hopefully will surprise me

Predictions?

This is a telling game. The US team had a forgettable 2015/early 2016. Losing the Gold Cup, losing to Mexico (Fed Cup birth), losing to Guatemala... Friendlies aside, the benchmark tourney's and tie breaker games (and a couple qualifiers) were major disappointments.

My sense is this team is moving on from being total shite. The roster rounded into form, youth showing great signs of improvement, Klinsmann making savvier line up decisions and recent strong results leading up to Copa.

The Colombia game was not a total disaster. People actually believed the US could win/tie that game. And while the final third creativity was the equivalent of a retarded monkey drawing on the wall with crayons, the possession and tempo were solid. Couple this with Bradley and Jones not completely shitting the bed against Costa rica and all is not lost.

I predict a 2-0 US win. I think they bring it. Gonna be chippy and emotional.

If they lose this game, it is time for some soul searching before the next qualifier. US soccer will continue it's regression and one would have to question the current ethos in place.

Excellent thoughts. Pretty much mirror my thinking.

Costa Rica's plan was very clearly to try to force the issue early given our tendency to give up early goals.
