Sounds like they are playing at Oracle.

Bad enough we are the stepchild to the Lakers.

Going night, night...fuck this game.

Isn't it like not even 8 pm there?
Clippers will keep this competitive in my opinion.

i dont know how they keep screwing this up.

go hire some underling Ivy league MBA's from other teams that know what they are doing and will work 80 hours a week and put them in charge like a decent organization does- not like the Knicks or like the Lakers are- acting like celebrity or hiring your son is a good basis for hiring front office personnel.

if he is a "consultant"-- okay....thats cool...if he is an actual decision maker- run for the hills.

He's been hired as a consultant. It's actually a very "Dr. Buss move" by Jeanie. Dr. Buss always had someone in an advisory role who would also generally handle the news conferences, etc.

What it tells me is that there are likely changes coming in the off-season and at the very least, Jim will be made to go sit in the corner. I'm hoping that she spares Mitch because he is actually a very good and well respected GM (Clarkson, Nance and Zubac were all Mitch picks).

However, word is that she has been asking a lot of FO/GM related questions of various contacts around the league. But that may just be that she's wanting the team to take a more modern approach and is getting feedback on how to best do it.

My best guess is that she will make her decisions in the off-season and it will be Magic who actually handles the pressers when those decisions are announced.

I'm hoping that she makes Jim go sit in the corner, promotes Mitch to President of Basketball Operations and promotes Ryan West (the logo's son) to GM.

I'm glad we finally agree you're simply talking a bunch of gibberish & have no proof @ all to back your bullshit claims up. Now read this part slowly...

Now we just need for you to admit the same re: turnup's Lebron comments and we can all hold hands and sing Kumbayah.

He can't win without Pat Riley.

Unless he goes to a team that had the #1 pick 3 out of 4 years, keeps the best out of those 3, and trades the others for superstar player named Kevin Love, then does every little thing LeBron wants in the process, including firing and hiring coaches.

LeBron also can't win without Pat Riley, unless of course he goes back to the shitty East, where there's no competition, cruises to the finals, only to be down 3-1 and have the league suspend one of the Warios best players for a huge away game.

LeBron also can't win without Pat Riley, unless Kyrie Irving's ass bails him out with a clutch 3 at the end of game 7, another 4th quarter in which LeBron failed to take over.

LeBron is a baby back bitch, is my point.

Be careful or Wamu will drone on for page after page bitching about you bitching about Lebron. :dhd:

Lebron could have gone to a team like Durant, he chose a team with players that didn't even make the playoffs or have even played a single game in the playoffs...There was a decent amount of teams in the west instantly putting them ahead of any other team in the west he could have joined and he would be playing an east team in the finals every year

Stupidest post of the day, 2 days in a row. Congrats.

Agree.
I remember reading James had enrolled his kids in the LA school system, not sure if it was true, but other then that, the chances of James leaving the EC was none.

So hold on.....Wiggy's telling us that Cavs have zero room to maneuver because they're well over the salary cap. Which we're all well aware of.

But when Miami was well over the salary cap and couldn't add any other players, Wiggy called Arison a cheap us for not adding other players. And don't say getting rid of Mike Miller was the reason. That dude was broken down on the bench making over $6 mil per.

Want to make sure this is accurate. Asking for a friend.

True. The Cavs don't have to deal with the Spurs.
I think the only other team in the west that can pull off beating the Spurs would be Houston. Maybe Memphis?

Eric Gordon hit a 3 to put Houston up 20 with 8:26 left tonight. Atlanta then went on a 36-11 run to end the game

Houston? Maybe, if they could force the Spurs to play their pace for 4 games.

Memphis? No. They're kind of the wannabe Spurs. Good, but no match for the real thing.

Oh and by the way, the soon to be posted 150,000 word sonnet, written in all caps, on why "the Cavs situation is different" that we are all going to be subjected to is on your head, mofo.

So, I looked over the schedule.
I'm assuming somewhere we'll slip up and lose 1, so we're still good for a 50 win season.

Super teams ruining the league dammit
