Yea very frustrating. Way too inconsistent for my liking. Until he finds that consistency, he will never get a long term contract.
Cavs would prob love him right now. Exactly the type of guy they need.

Its so hard with that guy. Dion Waiters is one of the most frustrating NBA players I have ever seen. He truly has the talent to be an All-Star level player if he ever developed a B, B+ mental game.

I love the way all of the media is trying to discredit the Miami win by saying the Warriors was in Miami the night before and that is the reason they didn't win. Such BS man. Miami beat this team with no Richardson, no Tyler, and obviously no Winslow. Stop with the lame excuses and give them credit.

he was dropping F-bombs like crazy.

Kyrie was disgusting in the 2nd half. 15/28 isnt amazing, but that does include half of those attempts were 3 pointers.....49 points on 28 shots is pretty damn good.

They really miss JR- and a point guard like a Mo or a Delly who can at the very least, run some pick and roll and get Thompson a slam once in a while like they both did a good job on last year at certain times.

and i get it LeBron- the team isnt built for the regular season- its built for the playoffs. Everyone knows that. Lue needs to not worry so much if they lose a couple extra games here and there and actually PLAY McRae....develop him a little- if he is not there and not going to get time after Smith gets hurt, while they need playmaking, why is he on the roster?--- hes on the roster because he can score and create shots - and he has shown some decent flashes here and there.

Korver addition isn't the end all piece they needed?
Downplay it all you want, Delly/Mozgov would be top rotation players on this roster.

Do I think any of this really means anything?
No.
I expected and called it.
We saw it here.
Regular season becomes a dragged out formality.

The one thing that would concern me the most is the amount of minutes James is playing, but we all know regardless of record he will pace himself the last couple weeks to make sure he's fresh and healthy when it matters.

Korver isnt a playmaker - he is a shooter.

They need a guy like a Mo who can put the ballo n the floor and create a play. They dont need that for the playoffs----- they have that covered--- they just need that for the regular season.

of course it doesnt mean anything- but you dont want LeBron showing up exhausted to the playoffs- sitting him here and there helps---- but Lue seems afraid to lose games all of a sudden...

who cares?

play McRae......limit LeBrons minutes.....pick up a point guard that isnt even likely to play in the playoffs.

I'd LOVE to trade him now, but he makes no $$$, so what could the Heat get in return?

definitely deserve credit- Waiters last two games have been great

like a previous poster said though- on the same night- during the dog days of January, the Cavs and Warriors lose road games to far inferior teams. It happens.

maybe a 2nd rounder if they were lucky- its not like Riley would ever deal him to the Cavs anyway even if he got an asset- way too spiteful.

I agree, he's never helping James/Cavs.
I was meaning trade to anyone who needs a scorer.

Like you've always said, Waiters is what he is.
He certainly doesn't lack in confidence.
He shot that last shot right in my face last night, it was awesome.

Plus, he has a player option next year which will really limit what someone would give for him IMO.

yah hes def. not picking up that player option.

what a frustrating player. He could be such a great asset as a 6th man scorer on a good team if he ever got the mental part of the game down.

I was so ready for the Warriors to blow us out like they do every team in the 3rd. Once they went up 70-63, I was like here we go lol.

Yep.
I really never thought we'd win until about the 3 minute mark.
Taking nothing away from the Heats effort, but Warriors prob shot as poorly as possible, but thats why they play the games.
It was def fun.

LeBron spewed some hot fire last night....yikes.

Good. I haven't heard it yet, but I was hoping for some fire from LeBron. Not just because of that one game but because of the buildup of the last few weeks.

NBA TV pokes fun at Lakers’ record-setting loss with ‘alternative stats’

this was kind of funny....

the "Alternative Facts" of the Mavericks/Lakers game from the other night....

Taco Trey Kerby Verified account ‏@treykerby

Shoutout to the @NBATV "alternative stats" for last night's LAL-DAL game.

That was the box score! Ignore the box score you can find on NBA.com, SBNation.com, ESPN.com, CBSSports.com ... well, OK, nearly every sports-related dot com. That’s the mainstream media trying to deceive you! The truth is, Kobe Bryant scored 80 points on 30-of-60 shooting, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar added 23 points, and the Lakers won 140-82 on Sunday. How dare you liars say otherwise!?

I love the : Rick Fox- DNP- Celebrity Red Carpet Appearance. lol.

Oh yeah, him and Holiday both played out of their minds.
its still humiliating losing to the Pelicans when Davis did not even play.

I mean- i get LeBron saying the team is "top heavy"- but when you dont share the ball- and guys dont get shots, what are they supposed to do?

the thing is- if Chalmers was healthy, or Cole or Jack- i think they would be here already.

I dont think the Cavs want to commit to one of those guys until they exhaust the trade/buy-out market.

Why pidgeon hole yourself into Mario Chalmers coming off a serious injury- if you have a chance to maybe get a Deron Williams type possibly through buyout or trade?

Did you see how many F-bombs LeBron had? at least 4-5....i have very very RARELY seen that level of anger from him.
