I love the way all of the media is trying to discredit the Miami win by saying the Warriors was in Miami the night before and that is the reason they didn't win. Such BS man. Miami beat this team with no Richardson, no Tyler, and obviously no Winslow. Stop with the lame excuses and give them credit.

Like I said from the previous Heat game, if the talent level was anywhere near equal the Heat outplayed the Warriors and would have won that one. This game, the talent level was not enough to overcome the effort from the Heat.

Waiters game aside, the Warriors just weren't efficient offensively. Yes their shots were not falling, but KD didn't get to the line until really late in the 4th quarter. That's where he was really supposed to help this team. It was to get to the line to manufacture points when shots were not falling. Steph and Klay overall were off for the game. They looked a step slow and that's on them.

It's good for the Warriors to suffer these types of losses. They rattled off a bunch of great games after their collapse against Memphis. I would expect them to do the same after this let down of a game.

Well congrats to your improving Lakers for being in the WC basement.

Maybe your Celtics might finally stand a chance in winning the series vs the Lakers for the first time in a decade...

When the Lakers are relevant again & not in the basement of the WC then get back to me. Until then enjoy the awful product they're putting on the floor night in & night out.

Then why do the Celtics year in, year out have difficulty besting them?

Must be embarrassing.

the thing is- if Chalmers was healthy, or Cole or Jack- i think they would be here already.

I dont think the Cavs want to commit to one of those guys until they exhaust the trade/buy-out market.

Why pidgeon hole yourself into Mario Chalmers coming off a serious injury- if you have a chance to maybe get a Deron Williams type possibly through buyout or trade?

Did you see how many F-bombs LeBron had? at least 4-5....i have very very RARELY seen that level of anger from him.

Not trying to be a dick, but when you have that much $$$ tied up in players like Tristan and JR (plus of course the Big 3), there isn't much left in the pie to go around.

Not sure what he expects unless he wanted Gilbert to pay the crazy amount of tax it would have taken to keep Delly/Mozgov which we know made no economical sense.

Why would it be embarrassing? Upsets happen all the time. The Heat just beat the Warriors, the Cavs just lost to the Pelicans & the Suns beat the Spurs less than 2 weeks ago. What's really embarrassing is the current state of the Lakers, keep changing the subject though. That's all I'm talking about, how bad the Lakers are right now. But you just go ahead & pretend that during the long 82 game season teams don't lose a game or two to inferior opponents.

No doubt the Lakers are in a bad place. But I hardly see the Celtics winning a title any time soon.

Yep.
I really never thought we'd win until about the 3 minute mark.
Taking nothing away from the Heats effort, but Warriors prob shot as poorly as possible, but thats why they play the games.
It was def fun.
agreed- it was a good game. I thought they had it until we saw Klay on Waiters for the last shot. He was using Klay all night & they should've switched KD on Waiters earlier in the game- and definitely on that last possession.

It was just one of those games they couldn't get over the hump. The Heat played really well- maybe has something to do with the last time they met. I don't think it's a big deal really since they won't see this team in June.

KD continues to say they're a work in progress. And that's true. As long as they continue to work to get better that's all a fan can ask for.

Yup. I thought they were decent overall on defense which is always my main concern. Lots of unforced errors on offense though. That will be a work in progress all year like you said.

Actually, the Lakers have improved this season from last. That's nothing to be embarrassed about, honestly speaking. I'm not sure that any person with realistic expectations thought this team would be in the top 5 in terms of standings. It takes time to make the transformation from where they were to where they're trying to go. Have to have patience- but their future is bright.

Yes, the defense looked good. Always a good sign.

I feel like his comments were a slap in the face for the rest of the roster. He was basically saying the rest of the roster is not good enough and he would love to see some of those guys gone from the team by the trade deadline.

I totally don't get his comments as well either. I mean he could easily go to David Griffin privately and tell him he needs to scour the waivers for players to bring in to help. Throwing his team under the bus in public is pretty bad for a player of his stature. He hedged it a bit by saying it wasn't fair to put that pressure on Liggins or Felder, but they've played decent. The Warriors have have arguably less talent to work with but Kerr has no issues with plugging and playing guys. Shit the Warriors trotted out Varaejo twice last week after mostly having DNP's or not even dressing for a large majority of games. McAdoo has gotten early run lately too after not dressing mostly. McCaw has played early minutes the last two games. Kevon Looney is getting run too now with West out.

All teams go through this. The problem is Lebron seems to be hindsight whining about not being able to pick up minimum contract guys in the off-season. Weird.

This is why @trojanfan12 continues to say LBJ should just STFU.

They can't even win their conference- let alone a title.

I get it. The little fella is using a bit of friendly banter as he's a celtics fan. But it's quite embarrassing if the celtics have just as much chance of winning the title as the Lakers do
