The humidity here is extremely bad, 85+ here feels like 100 in Cali (yes, I've been to Cali).

100+ here is abysmal, no clue how people go to the fucking beach in that weather, I live about 15 minutes from the water and I rarely go anymore.

I kind of understand Jim doing what he's doing, he was actually involved with the team. I don't understand Johnny's angle though. He has never been involved with the Lakers and from what I understand, has never wanted to be.

The only thing I can think of for Johnny is wanting to try to force a sale. I wouldn't think Jim would want to force a sale though. I think he actually thinks he was "reassigned" unfairly.

You know that I don't typically bet on things but I just couldn't pass this up. With the way the Heat give the Cavs the business every time they meet (since LBJ has left Miami) I'm thinking my odds of winning are pretty good.

Maybe. The playoffs are different animal though. No doubt the Heat are playing well and they are the team that no one in the East not named the Cavs want to see and, if they're smart, the Cavs will be nervous enough to make sure they don't overlook the Heat.

If this were the old days, where it was a 3 or even a 5 game series, I would give the Heat a decent chance. But, even as well as they are playing, I just can't see them beating a healthy Cavs team 4/7.

Having said that, I really, really hope I'm wrong and the Heat can shock the world.

When I lived on Anna Maria Island, in the summer I used to go out to my car, start the engine and turn on the air, then go in take my shower/get ready to leave. Otherwise, by the time I got to the car and got the AC going good, I was already drenched in sweat.

You get used to it.... I'm saying this now while the weather is great... but hey, I'll take 7-8 months of terrific weather and deal with the 4 months of hell. Beats snow. And if you wanna go snowboard just drive 2 hours up to Flagstaff and boom. Cali & Vegas are close drives as well... location, location, location.

Yep...I was T.A.D on a flagship in Bahrain for a short stint.
