just out of curiosity...i saw Luke Babbit started tonight....

with Dragic, Waiters and Winslow---- why wouldnt you just play Derrick Williams? is he hurt or something?--- you paid to bring him in- former #2 pick, hes 25 years old...and hes not playing? luke babbit is playing over him?

if he is injured or something- my bad- i just saw in the box score it was DNP Coaches Decision. I actually thought it was a fairly underated signing.

is it a conscious decision to just play luke babit over williams?

Kemba is becoming one of my favorite players in the league. Kid is 26 right in his prime and is playing amazing basketball.....

Batum, MKG and Marvin Williams at the 2, 3, 4 is ridiculous defensively...all those guys can switch and defend multiple positions.

They team has some great depth....at point sessions...at shooting guard belinelli and jeremy lamb.....

a big man rotation of Zeller, MArvin, HAwes, Hibbert, KAminskey...

its a fun team to watch...I hope they are taking that next step up this seaosn.

Bradley Beal shooting 36.6%.

is there a chance this guy is just criminally overated? he got his max deal - SG is a pretty weak position overall in basketball.....but this guy just has never done anything...he is only 23 years old- not even at the beginning of his prime yet....but it sure looks like he is a chucker who doesnt do much else. at least thus far.

Julius Randle looks like he could be pretty damn good....finally fully healthy (hopefully he stays that way)- the kid is obviously a great athlete- runs the court extremely well, rebounds well - gets good position.

he is still so young- but if he can develop a shot and learn to play defense over the next couple years he has some big time potential. Its hard being a top 10 PF in this league since there are so many good ones out there- but i think its possible he gets there someday.

He's a better shooter than this. Smart money is that he'll improve as the year goes on.

Dude can score, but he is overpaid. The Wiz signed that deal out of necessity more than anything else, mainly because the 2 is a weaker position in the NBA as you said. Nobody was really happy about it, but the organization felt like their hands were tied and they really had no choice but to pay him.

Spread the court more for Whiteside is the only logical reason, but it's not needed and Babbit is horrible.

They competed as hard as they could.
Dragic going down prob cost us the game, but whatever, come June, the losses will be more important.

Watching Whiteside, Richardson, Tyler and Winslow all improving is all that matters this season.

Very nice young foundation to build around and the cash will be there this summer.

Yep as I posted on the heat board, it was the first time in his 3 games where Richardson looked like himself. He is a much better player than Waiters and I expect him to be starting at SG in a week or two

I've been screaming about this on the Heat board all year long. My only guess is Williams must be really really bad in practice. Its the only logical reason I can think of.

Only reason he might not be, would be to give some balance to the bench.
He's without question a better player then Dion IMO.

Still trails AD in blocks.
I'm still waiting for some factual reasons as why Drummond is a better player.
