ill bet you Matt Barnes plays more minutes than McCaw the rest of the way...name your terms.
Yeah, probably.

Mccaw is still a skinny rookie.

They are trying to win now.

So, that isn't surprising.

But, Mccaw will get some minutes and is obviously very much part of their future.

I'm pretty comfortable with saying he will be twice player Barnes is about 300,000 calories from now.

Only if you admit McCaw is a rotational player, and you were clearly wrong. Then I'll gladly take you up on the bet.

Last time McCaw had a DNP-CD was January 8th but he's not a rotation player LMFAO

I'm pretty much handing myself an L here for the good of the board. Everyone knows that Barnes will likely get more playing time than McCaw, because McCaw is a situational, defensive specialist. Doesn't mean he's not a rotation player though.

But all @WiggyRuss has to do is come in here, man up, and admit he was wrong. And I'll take the L on that bet.

So what's it gonna be Wiggy?

lol, dude, you gotta be kidding me...what is he? like 11th? 12th? guy on the roster? They were just gonna pick up Calderon - until they had to pick up Barnes...hes nothing at this point- hes below a replacement level player. You can pick up SO many guys off of waivers that are better. He sucks at this point in his career- that doesnt mean he wont suck his entire career- but the fact is he is a back end of the roster 2nd round dleaguer scrub at this point.

So, does that mean Felder is trash since the Cavs picked up Deron? No...it means he's not ready...yet.

So is that a no to admitting you were wrong and not taking the bet with me?

it means that I PRAY Kay Felder isnt playing meaningful minutes for the Cavs at this point in his career- because if he is- that means shit has gone wrong.

Then you should happily admit that the Warriors are stuck in a position to have to use McCaw in a rotational capacity. I'm good with that.

But you'd then have to admit he's a part of the rotation, which you were clearly wrong about.

So still having trouble admitting you were so, so wrong?

We were talking about 2014.
Those guys are up for extensions this Summer.
Who outside of Wiggins is a no brainer?
Saric and Randle have shown flashes. But, I'd wait another year.
Embiid, Parker, Lavine are all uber talented. But, all 3 are injured.
Below is my original post.

Giannis saved the "Bennett Draft." (which is still pretty crappy)

Rudy Gobert
CJ McCollum
Steven Adams
Dennis Schroeder
Otto Porter
KCP
Victor Oladipo
Nerlens Noel
Nemanja Nedovic

Solid draft, but Giannis saved it from a star POV.

I forgot Saric didn't come to the NBA immediately.
So, you might be right.
I refuse to get caught up in Gordon.
I remember hearing he's the next Bg32.
But, what has the first one done outside of Dunking over a Kia for that to be high praise?
I love Blake.
But, something is missing in him that I can't put my finger on.
With that being said, Gordon is athletic. But, so was Tyrus Thomas, Stromile Swift...lo l
I will say, I'd pay him before I gave Payton a nickel.

2014 is also one of the few NBA drafts that probably will have 2 ROYs coming from it. (which isn't the best measure of quality) It could have had 3 ... if Embiid didn't qualify this year -- but came back healthy next year.

Yes -- better than I remembered -- a lot because of Gobert.

I've looked back at that one and thought "who were the Cavs considering that they should have taken?" -- and always struggled for who they should have done instead. (without knowing that Gobert/Giannis would break out ... obviously anyone would have ended up to be better than Bennett)

Oladipo has been most common answer -- but at the time, I remember no one thought he should go #1. Porter is interesting because he looked disappointing the first couple of years -- now he looks good -- could be "most improved player" -- and maybe even get a Max. They were impatient -- or they should have just taken Noel and waited a year. (again -- based on what we knew at the time)
