wiggy probably thinks anything that happened in the NBA before '03 is invalid. The NBA really didn't mean anything until the league rigged the draft so His King could play for the Cavs.
nope.....just pretty much everything that occurred pre MJ/Magic....

i just dont care....i just find it has very very little relevance on todays game. pre 3 pt line etc., shit- the NBA finals was on tape delay for a while there it was so irrelevant.

the "modern game" is generally believed to have begun around the institution of the 3 pt line and with MAgic and Bird entering hte league.

everything before that is about as relevant to me as football before the super bowl--- as much as i would love to tout how great the Cleveland Browns franchsie is for its greatness way back when- i just find it irrelevant, boring, and having no practical effect on todays game.

I mean shit- there were still teams taht would not start an all african american lineup due to racial considerations. back then there were what? 12 teams at one time?

i just find it all terribly boring and irrelevant--- i am sure other people have similar opinions- i am sure other people vehemently disagree with.

give me any modern great over any "great" from way back then....there are of course exceptions - your Jim Browns, your Wilt Chamberlains that could play in any era...

i wonder what Bill Russell would look like in todays NBA....i bet DeAndre Jordan would whoop his ass- let alone a Hakeem or Shaq or Duncan.

Did you know LeBron was only about a year old in '86 yet he still inspired Larry Bird?

There's a 1000% chance that Wiggy doesn't know that "The Shot" by Jordan, was against the Cavs, lmfao

LOL....Craig Ehlo?

that Cavs team is similar to- i think- how these Bostons teams will look- led by a great pg like Mark Price (Isiah) a very solid deep team--- but there was one problem.

MJ.

just like how this celtics team will run into a similar problem over and over again- LeBron.

Wiggy thinks Space Jam was a Semi-Documentary on Michael Jordan's career.

The level of hubris and stupidity in just this sentence alone is astounding. Please do the world a favor and never procreate.

hey its just my opinion....watching grainy footage of guys who largely wouldnt have a prayer in todays NBA competing in a vastly smaller league, with vastly different rules, when at times the Finals wasnt even broadcast live, is just irrelevant to me.

The 3 pt line came into existence during the 79-80 season. Unless i am mistaken, Bird and Magic were drafted the previous year.

to me, and anyone that has a clue that writes about the NBA- that is the start of the "modern" NBA. Everything before that to me is just boring and irrelevant.

So....Oscar Robertson, DR J, Kareem, Frazier, Hayes, McAdoo, Havlicek, Barry, West, Archibald, Gervin, Thompson

All are irrelevant?

Nate Thurmond is credited w/ having the 1st recorded quadruple double in league history. But according to wiggy since he did that in the 70's it doesn't count.

Jerry West played most of his career in the 60's, so he sucks. The NBA logo should be changed to a silhouette of LeBron.

Absolutely. I could think of no worse form of torture than being forced to watch reruns of old time NBA games (other than watching reruns of browns games- particularly ones where Johhny Manziel was the QB). And Kareem played in the 80's on the '87 Lakers which is regarded as possibly the best NBA team of all time. Thats relevant

if its not before '80- its not for me. The league was barely a league before then. I am not going to have some bullshit nostalgia for an era that has no relevance on todays game.
