This day and age, it should be common sense for everyone.

But, Cops think they're occupation is a deterrent for thieves.

Actually it's the opposite. The challenge and bragging rights makes folks want to try you.
Very good point. It's human nature to want to test the envelope & some people just can't ignore the urge.

I just hope KD will be okay for the playoffs. I hate seeing players get injured.
Yeah, I don't want to win like that.

That's what makes me quietly gleeful about the Blazers collapse this year.

Would they have won last year if the Clips were full strength?

Who knows?

That's the way the cookie, or Clippers players bones, crumble.

Agree 100%.

That's another reason this year's playoffs will be interesting.

People focus on the offense.

But, Durant is having a career year on defense.

If he's limited, Dray will once again have to shoulder a heavy burden.
I can't believe how much KD has improved his defense on this team. I certainly didn't expect it.

I disagree. If Kyrie was that much better then why were they down 1-3 in that series? You don't have to over exaggerate EVERYTHING Cavs. Just keep it 1 hunid, please.
Kyrie was that much better. I mean did you watch?

Hahahaaha

And no, I don't think Portland gets past the Clips last season without the injuries. It was a similar situation- Clips had Portland on the ropes.

The clippers are the best team in the West, when 100% healthy, which is only about 2 weeks out of the year.

If there's any type of silver lining for the Warriors @ least this happened now & not @ the end of the regular season. Although even w/ the KD injury I still think the Warriors are the team to beat this year.

probably.....guys like butler and george just dont move that often...look back at most all of Ainge's deals- they are all high leverage deals

Garnett (after they got Allen) forced his way to boston in a leveraged deal--- the Nets dumb owner and Billy King paid way too much for Garnett and Pierce wanting to get the deal done immediately, The Suns had to move Isiah Thomas, the Mavs paid way too much for Rondo (Crownder and a 1st rounder),

the Celtics dont make deals unless they win them- and Ainge is not gonna win any deal where he gets a top 20 guy like George or Butler...thats just not how the NBA works...

I honestly think they are gonna deal Thomas to avoid paying him.

If they get Fultz or Ball, and no deal for a franchise guy materializes, I could see them getting what they can for him to avoid that max.

Yes, as a matter of fact I watched EVERY game. Clearly you only tuned in from game 5 on- in your typical fashion.

that would be really interesting....there are so many different ways they can go. Who knows what they will look like

the one thing i like is that this is one more year of flexibility...i mean if Blake Griffin or Gordon Heyward want to come to Boston that changes things big time...not that i think that is realistic, but who knows what will happen.
this offseason should give us a lot more clarity on the Celtics long term plans....i really actualyl like Rozier a lot on the bench.

i dont care if Draymond turns into Oscar Robertson-

:wtf2:...:pound:

What the hell are you smoking, did you steal my weed? Draymond's a damn good player but he's not an elite all time great like the Big O. It's an insult to Oscar to even put them in the same sentence like that.

the Cavs won in my opinion because KYrie Irving totally wiped the floor with Curry...i dont care if Draymond turns into Oscar Robertson- if Kyrie is beating up Steph Curry again like last year the Cavs will win. Your best player cant come up that small and be outplayed by the other teams 2nd best player.

I have to agree with this. I don't think it was necessarily Kyrie wiping the floor with Curry, but Curry wasn't shooting like his normal self. His percentages were way down the last 3 games, but he still averaged 24 a game over that period of time.

The difference in the series was Harrison Barnes. If he plays even halfway decent the series should have swung easily in GSW favor.

While Curry is not blameless, he needs to show this year that he can handle the moment full force. Kyrie is 1 up on him to this point.

Well, the Warriors were one Kyrie game winner away from back to back championships.

A healthy Curry gives them a chance to beat anyone.

But, I would be worried about putting my faith into Mcgee, who would have to give them some quality minutes, to keep Green fresh.

KD has put in work on defense.

If he's not healthy, the winner is a toss up vs. The Spurs or Cavs.

They destroy everyone else, even if they don't have Durant.

I noticed I'm missing a lot of things Wiggy says because I stop reading beyond sentence #2.

I really wish he would list his points in bullet format

I agree w/ what you said there. Do you think the Spurs can gain any ground on the Warriors while KD's recovering?

In games 5-7, Harrison Barnes went:

2-14
0-8
3-10

But the biggest thing for me is that the Warriors were struggling on the boards and Barnes who was playing the 4 a lot had rebounding games of 5, 2 and 2. That's horrible.

Easy answer is yes. The Warriors are only 4 up on the Spurs, with 2 left against them head to head. The Warriors will still be very good, but it'll be interesting to see what Pop does with his team and rest. They would have no problems being the #2 seed or #4 for that matter.

Like I've said before w/ some of wiggy's overly homeristic rants it's better to read them backwards. They actually can make more sense then.
