lol...yah until you sacrificed a first to get him off the team after you realized giving joel anthony a multi year deal was pure lunacy.

Heat had no cap space to add a C, and Anthony functioned well within the system.
He actually was useful here.

And the tank marches on, the Kings offense looks really bad right now. I've seen some good things from Skal, Buddy, and WCS through these first 3 games, but they're still young so there will be plenty of bad as well. I could see the Nets beating the Kings on Wednesday.

I have him at 4 too, but he's going to need 2 more for me to put him over Kareem (6-4) and Magic (5-4).

Yeah, it's questionable for me. Getting a 4th ring (which years ago I predicted 3-4 titles) would separate him from Kobe and Tim given that Lebron will have been the main catalyst and Finals MVPs for all of his titles. But yeah, I can agree with your post.

Bobbie Gibson > Williams...lol...Honestly, I was gonna say Mo Williams in his first stint with the Cavs. But, he was more of a scorer than a playmaker.
boobie gibson? talk about a guy who was not AT ALL a "pure" point guard....all that guy did was shoot 3's.

Steph Curry 0/11 from 3 last night- while SETH Curry goes 5/7 for 29 points and leads the Mavs who bought out half their team to a win vs. the best team with a losing record EVER in history. lol. crazy night.

Hey, we were excited to get Mike Bibby when it happened.
hahaha mike bibby? he was a washed up scrub by the time he got to miami....

this is why you have no credibility- when you compare tristan thompson to scrub asses like Joel anthony and chris anderson- when you compare bibby to dwill.

these arent equal- (not that you said this one)- but Channing Frye does not equal scrub ass rashard lewis at the end of his career

David griffin has actually been able to go out and get guys who still have something left to fill out the end of the roster. Its why he is one of the leagues best.

after a pretty lack-luster January- Cavs got back on track in Feb.

Strong February has the Cavs feeling fine about the future

“It’s over?” LeBron James said after coming back from strep throat to put up 24 points on 8-for-12 shooting, 10 rebounds and six assists on the Bucks. “February is over, huh? Yeah, that sucks. It’s been a great month for our team. We just played good basketball. We got back to Cavalier basketball and to our DNA, so it definitely helped a lot.”

Here’s whom the Cavs lost from last season’s championship team: Matthew Dellavedova, Timofey Mozgov, Mo Williams, Dahntay Jones and Sasha Kaun. Fast-forward eight months from the NBA Finals, and Mo Williams, Jones and Kaun are all out of the league, while Mozgov has collected DNP-CDs in six of the Los Angeles Lakers’ past seven games. And with all due respect to Dellavedova, who is having a serviceable season for the Bucks, let’s not forget he played five minutes total in Games 5, 6 and 7 of the Finals, when the Cavs were in must-win mode.

Korver, with 13 points off the bench on Monday, and Derrick Williams, with 14 points on 5-for-7 shooting (including a deep-as-Freud buzzer-beating 3-pointer to end the third quarter) and seven rebounds in a reserve role, have transformed Cleveland’s second unit.

Then there is Deron Williams, who provides a clear upgrade to Delly (not to mention DeAndre Liggins and Kay Felder too).

“I can definitely help the pick-and-roll game here, being able to distribute and also score as well and kind of take the pressure off Bron having to handle the ball so much with that second unit,” Deron Williams said before receiving a hearty ovation from the Cleveland crowd when he was shown on the video board in the second half.

You think James sits Friday to make sure he's fresh for Heat on Saturday?
I do.
hmmmm...just looking at the schedule- they have 5 games from Monday to Monday- so i would be surprised if lebron played in all 5 games. Ill tell ya one thing- i dont want him or kyrie playing in all 5 games- there is no reason to- ESPECIALLY if they beat Boston tomorrow and get their lead in the East to 5 games.

you KNOW he is playing against Boston- the current 2 seed in the East...with the off day Thursday i think it makes more sense to sit him Saturday to be honest. Play wed., fri., sit saturday, play monday.....but we shall see how it goes.

with all the depth and the strong bench the Cavs have itll be interesting to see how they handle it.

kind of an update on Bosh- he didnt give away much.

Bosh debuts as analyst: 'Still staying ready'

More than a year removed from his last NBA game, Bosh said during his debut appearance as an analyst for Turner Sports' "Players Only" programming that he's working out -- indicating that he has not ruled out trying to play again.

"My health is great," Bosh said during Monday night's broadcast. "I'm feeling good, still working out and just really still staying ready."

Bosh said even his children are asking when he's returning to the NBA, but he did not discuss any specifics about that or whether he's still battling the blood clots that derailed his 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons -- both times at the All-Star break. Bosh remains under contract with the Miami Heat but has not been with the team this season after failing a physical in September.

Bosh did not offer any hints about his future, nor did he specifically say that he plans on returning to the NBA.

Because he has been sidelined for more than a year, the Heat can choose at any time to initiate a process in which his contract would be removed from their salary cap. It's unclear when the Heat will choose to do so, though with Bosh owed more than $52 million over the next two seasons -- money he is guaranteed -- it is certain Miami will seek the cap relief at some point before next summer.

Bosh also didn't reveal what he tells his kids when they ask about his comeback plans.

"I'm getting pressure from them, too," Bosh said.

And where was I comparing them?
I was just reminiscing over waiver wire pickups.
Bibby was AWFUL, but we were so bad at PG we thought he was an upgrade.

I think D Will is a huge add for the Cavs, but since I never thought they wouldn't cruise through the East in my mind it really changes nothing.

Anyone could have predicted the Cavs strong February. I even mentioned it several weeks ago. Schedule was extremely weak. Outside of that mini roadtrip when they played OKC, WSH, & I think Indy, it was a pretty soft schedule. The Cavs having a good February surprised no one.

Seth hit like a 40ft 3 at the end of a possession when the Heat was still up 2, which essentially took the air out of the Heat.
We didn't score the last 4:30.
