All that and the Heat still managed to be better than 4-20 without him.
as long as LeBron is allowed to play in the playoffs its cool by me if the Cavs never win another game without him for as long as hes here. The team is built around him and his skills---- all though- finally getting some diversity in here to add to the bevy of spot up shooters is nice.

You see Derrick Williams tonight? he had some nasty plays. Him and Korver have really been nice off the bench.

There's a difference in being up 3-1 with game 5 being at home and zero pressure. Game 6 was a road game so that was always going to be tough. Cleveland is a damn good team so beating them twice in Cleveland was always going to be tough. Game 7 is game 7. Lots of pressure on both teams. And there is also something calls momentum. If you can't realize that Draymond suspension changed the whole momentum of the series then you're just a retard. No other way around it.

Sometimes I think he's never seen an actual game.

Getting Deron Williams should be really important for the Cavs. First- the Cavs cant sit Kyrie and LeBron at the same time- no one is out there to bring up the ball besides like Shumpert or Felder- and thats not flying on a the defending champs

having Williams should let the Cavs rest Kyrie and LeBron with more consistency- being able to build lineups without those 2- especially when Love comes back.

I think thats really underated

I mean--- The minute Deron Williams steps on the court, is he the best "true point guard" LeBron has ever played with? Kyrie is a new school point guard obviously, and Mo Williams made an all star team but he was more of a combo guard.

Deron Williams, still averaging 14 and 7 coming to the Cavs- probably is the best true point guard Bron has ever played with.

I cant wait to see how Williams and LeBron and Love work together- especially Williams and Love- Williams has been amazing in the pick and roll- he should help only continue to make Love more efficient.

... or they could have spent > $100M dollars (really >$250M with cap costs) to re-sign the two guys from last year.
lol......lets see....26 million in salary between delly and mozzy- so that would have been about another 75 million at least in tax...

so- to keep DELLY AND MOZGOV it would have cost them about an extra 100 million THIS YEAR

instead?

Derrick Williams, Kyle Korver, Deron Williams and Andrew Bogut for probably about a combined, I dunno....20M?

its why David Griffin is one of the best. In a playoff game? lol...give me Bogut over Mozgov anyday. Deron Williams or Delly?- i LOVE Delly- was sad to see him go- but cmon. Deron Williams is 32 and still has some ball left.

Not sure why you would ever want to rest your two best players at the same time.

Saying a washed up Deron Williams who hasn't been really good since probably 2011 is the best true PG Lebron played with is not saying much.

3 summers ago James wasn't happy about having to carry so much of the load.
Every team he's on is built around him and his skills.
What you are now apparently saying is what we've been telling you all along.
Kyrie and Love have never shown the ability to lead any team to wins.
James has shown that if you surround him with complimentary role players it's enough to beat most teams.

well shit- there are gonna be nights Kyrie or LeBron is gonna sit out- and the other guy needs to rest.

that has been such a HUGE problem for hte cavs when LeBron has sat- who else helps initiate any offense? Kyrie goes to the bench- and who is running the point? Iman Shumpert?

plus- there are points where i think Lue wants to get rest Bron and or Kyrie but cant...even Delly wasnt great at getting into the offense until the last few months in Cleveland.

Deron Williams should be able to initiate offense- especially iwth Love and Jr are on the court in the pick and roll.

plus- i think Lue can experiment with some pretty killer lineups.

wouldnt you love to see a lineup with both LeBron and Kyrie off the ball, maybe with Kyle Korver sitting in the corner and daring any one to inch away from him with Deron Williams initiating? that sounds like a lot of fun to me. Williams should already have some chemistry with Bogut....

PG- Dwill
SG- Kyrie
SF- Korver
PF- Bron
C- Bogut

id love to see that lineup and what it could do...there are just a ton of lineups that Lue can experiment with now.

Again with this shit?
All Griffin had to do was absolutely nothing.
Buyouts happen every season and those players chase rings.
Only person bitching was LeDouche.

the last year Kyrie played without LeBron he played basically the entire season at 21 years old with a very limited roster. gmab.

Cavs can't experiment with any roster against the Warriors where James isn't playing 40+ minutes or they'll lose by 20+.

Who gives a flying fuck what they do against a shitty team during the regular season?

The problem is, I don't see how this lets Lebron rest before the playoffs. I doubt he's 2nd in the league in mpg if the Cavs showed they can win without him. The dude is a physical freak, but he's still human and has a lot of miles on him. That's got to catch up sooner or later. Also, it shows that if Lebron were to ever have to miss a couple of games in the playoffs, the Cavs are fucked.

Didn't get to see the game, was driving for 2 hours in a rainstorm. I never realized how bad SoCal drivers are in the rain until I lived in Florida and learned to drive in real rain. lol

Williams is very good athlete. I've been surprised that he hasn't been better. Maybe being on better team will help him start to play closer to his talent level.

Also any good offensive team would expose any lineup with Williams and Korver on the floor at the same time. Both are pretty bad defenders and it would be impossible to hide both against a good team

What point are you trying to prove? It's no secret that LBJ has barely played with any true point guards in his career. And the few that he did play it were not very good.

Which sort of makes sense since James usually handles the ball during important times.

@WiggyRuss , let us know when James trust D Will to run the point during a close playoff game.

my point is its going to be intersting to see LeBron play with such an experienced, savy, smart point guard that is an expert at setting guys up.

Dwill isnt ancient- hes 32...hes def. passed his prime- but he still has game left. he wasnt avergaging 14 and 7 by accident.

I just think itll be interesting to see LeBron play with an experienced, smart, former all star, olympic point guard like Williams.

We have never seen it before- at least i dont think so. Part of the only reason its possible is becuase Williams is willing to swallow his ego and accept a backup role. LeBron has never had this guy- because you have never wanted a guy to constantly be dominating the ball when you have LeBron James- he should have the ball a lot.

Its just an interesting circumstance that they were able to land this guy.

I cant wait to see LeBron playing with a guy like that. He never has before in his career.

Exactly. I don't know what point is he trying to prove. I'm sure the Warriors would love to see the Cavs throw that lineup he suggested against them.

I'm just excited to see Lebron and Deron Williams work together to get as many coaches fired as they possibly can. It could be record-breaking.

He's been bad for a few years now. Everyone here in Brooklyn hated him. Could not wait for him to leave town.

i do. I love watching these games and seeing what Lue is doing.... its been awesome to see a guy like Kyle Korver come here and just absolutely go beserk from 3.

you rememeber when you were "ON FIRE" in NBA Jam?

Kyle Korver is 63% from 3 this month!!!! lol...those are freaking VIDEO GAME numbers..if he tried a backflip dunk from the 3 pt line a huge jet of smoke would come out his ass and we would hear the "BOOM SHAKA LAKA" come from the announcer when he slammed it.

seeing a guy like Derrick Williams- a guy thats been humbled, has been on nothing but bad teams his entire career- get signed by the Cavs and all of a sudden become a guy running around the court like a madmen finishing crazy dunks.

this is freaking fun as hell man.
