Terrible end of the game possession there. James Johnson had no business taking that 3.

Had 2 possessions to score down 3. Both times they settled for the 3 and missed. Could have tried for higher % shot both times. Game is likely over now

Yep.
No reason at all.
Waiters was wide open on the previous possession.
Just not his night.

Hey, nobody's going to win them all, or at even close to what they've been doing, but if they continue to play this hard they'll outfinish Bucks, Pistons, etc..

And Dragic now misses a 3. That's the game. Sucks to lose this game considering they came back from down double digits in this half to go up 5 with under 5 to go in the 4th. Disappointing

So if they were 11-0 would u claim they were better off without lebron

It's an irrelevant meaningless stat, that is the reality

A little late for them to go 11-0. Instead, they've gone 4-11. Still ignoring reality I see.

Also, the fact that you think it's irrelevant, shows how little you know about team sports. What it tells Lebron and the coaching staff is that this team can't be trusted without Lebron.

Or do you think it's a coincidence that he's pushing 32 (and has more miles on his body than Kobe did at that age) and is 2nd in the league in minutes per game?

On the other hand, I'm pretty damn happy about things.

"At the end of the day, I just felt like this was the best fit for me," said Williams, speaking to reporters in the hallway outside the Cavs' locker room shortly before Cleveland hosted the Milwaukee Bucks. "It was a team that showed interest in the offseason in signing me and one -- I think my name was thrown around all season and so I know a lot of the guys on the team, you know playing with LeBron [James] in the Olympics.

Williams is the Cavs' third significant acquisition since January, joining Korver and swingman Derrick Williams as new faces on the roster as Cleveland tries to load up for a repeat title run. A fourth could be on the way, as Philadelphia waived center Andrew Bogut on Monday and ESPN's Marc Stein and Tim MacMahon report there is mutual interest between Bogut and the Cavs.

Williams, with the ink barely dry on his Cavs contract, had already begun recruiting Bogut to Cleveland.

"We've been in contact," Williams said of Bogut with a smile.

Close enough better than the 76ers

I'm not sure why the 76ers are even relevant to this conversation . . . but you're wrong again.

Kevin Love entered the league in 2008. From 2008-2009 to 2013-2014, the Timberwolves won 153 games. The 76ers won 197 games during that same time period. The 76ers went .500 or better 3 times and made the playoffs 3 times during that stretch, including 7 wins in the 2011-2012 playoffs. The Timberwolves had 0 seasons with a record of .500 or better and 0 playoff appearances during that same stretch.

Were the 76ers any good? No. But that just makes it that much more pathetic that Kevin Love's Minnesota teams were outperformed by them.

But do we really need >100 posts saying the same thing ?

How many posts have there been speculating what the Spurs are like without Leonard?

How many Spurs fans do you see in here acting like some of these Cavs fans?

I gotta say...Derrick Williams looked great again tonight. Its not gonna be easy for Lue to find him minutes if/when Bogut signs- and when everyone is healthy but he has really been a breath of fresh air-

on a team with a bunch of guys who are more spot up shooters- or older.. (Korver, Jefferson, Shumpert, Frye, James Jones) getting a guy with his athleticism has been great.

5/7 for 14 points, 7 boards tonight. Nicely done. Him and Korver have been some nice punch of the bench lately.

Yeah, it's getting really hard to discredit Lebron. Like I said earlier this year, I have Lebron #4 in my all-time players behind Kareem, Magic and MJ (GOAT). He wins again and gets Finals MVP, he's just right behind MJ.

I have him at 4 too, but he's going to need 2 more for me to put him over Kareem (6-4) and Magic (5-4).

Last i checked lebron led the heat in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks throughout the playoffs

That doesn't scream more help to me

All that and the Heat still managed to be better than 4-20 without him.

... or they could have spent > $100M dollars (really >$250M with cap costs) to re-sign the two guys from last year.

Kyrie in December averaged almost 8 assists a game and - doing that with LeBron averaging a ton of assists isnt easy- it was def one of the best months i have seen in Kyrie's career....in January he was back down to just over 5 assists per game- and now back in February he has been back up to 7.

When the Cavs have 2 guys like Kyrie and LeBron distributing and combining to get between 15-20 assists a night- the offense moves a lot better. Its nice to see Kyrie integrating that into his game more and more consistently and continuing to grow as a player.
