So, back to Bogut.
Driving this morning, NBA radio morning host Brian Scalabrine, who is friends with Bogut said he talked to him last night.
He said that from what he got out of the conversation, that Bogut would pick the team which will best help him secure a contract for another year or 2.
In his opinion he felt he's going to choose the Spurs.
He said he felt that joining them would secure him pretty much a 20minute a night role on the court, and that the system was perfect for his game.
He pointed out that Bogut already has a ring, so its really not the end all for him.

kind of an update on Bosh- he didnt give away much.

Bosh debuts as analyst: 'Still staying ready'

More than a year removed from his last NBA game, Bosh said during his debut appearance as an analyst for Turner Sports' "Players Only" programming that he's working out -- indicating that he has not ruled out trying to play again.

"My health is great," Bosh said during Monday night's broadcast. "I'm feeling good, still working out and just really still staying ready."

Bosh said even his children are asking when he's returning to the NBA, but he did not discuss any specifics about that or whether he's still battling the blood clots that derailed his 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons -- both times at the All-Star break. Bosh remains under contract with the Miami Heat but has not been with the team this season after failing a physical in September.

Bosh did not offer any hints about his future, nor did he specifically say that he plans on returning to the NBA.

Because he has been sidelined for more than a year, the Heat can choose at any time to initiate a process in which his contract would be removed from their salary cap. It's unclear when the Heat will choose to do so, though with Bosh owed more than $52 million over the next two seasons -- money he is guaranteed -- it is certain Miami will seek the cap relief at some point before next summer.

Bosh also didn't reveal what he tells his kids when they ask about his comeback plans.

"I'm getting pressure from them, too," Bosh said.

I'll give it away for him, to you.
No NBA team is ever going to clear a guy who can drop dead on the court if he absorbs contact.

after a pretty lack-luster January- Cavs got back on track in Feb.

Strong February has the Cavs feeling fine about the future

“It’s over?” LeBron James said after coming back from strep throat to put up 24 points on 8-for-12 shooting, 10 rebounds and six assists on the Bucks. “February is over, huh? Yeah, that sucks. It’s been a great month for our team. We just played good basketball. We got back to Cavalier basketball and to our DNA, so it definitely helped a lot.”

Here’s whom the Cavs lost from last season’s championship team: Matthew Dellavedova, Timofey Mozgov, Mo Williams, Dahntay Jones and Sasha Kaun. Fast-forward eight months from the NBA Finals, and Mo Williams, Jones and Kaun are all out of the league, while Mozgov has collected DNP-CDs in six of the Los Angeles Lakers’ past seven games. And with all due respect to Dellavedova, who is having a serviceable season for the Bucks, let’s not forget he played five minutes total in Games 5, 6 and 7 of the Finals, when the Cavs were in must-win mode.

Korver, with 13 points off the bench on Monday, and Derrick Williams, with 14 points on 5-for-7 shooting (including a deep-as-Freud buzzer-beating 3-pointer to end the third quarter) and seven rebounds in a reserve role, have transformed Cleveland’s second unit.

Then there is Deron Williams, who provides a clear upgrade to Delly (not to mention DeAndre Liggins and Kay Felder too).

“I can definitely help the pick-and-roll game here, being able to distribute and also score as well and kind of take the pressure off Bron having to handle the ball so much with that second unit,” Deron Williams said before receiving a hearty ovation from the Cleveland crowd when he was shown on the video board in the second half.

Such nonsense.
January was loaded with road games, a lot against the West.
Feb schedule was TONS easier.
Its just James talking to talk.

Bogut and everyone has to sign with someone today to be playoff eligible.

The Cavs loaded schedule in February. The only 3 games I even thought they had a chance at losing were the road games against Washington, Indy, & OKC.

I don't think that's true. I think you're getting confused. They have to get released by today in order to be eligible for the playoffs. I don't think they have to sign by today.

yah- as soon as the Rockets got rid of mcdaniels i figured they would be the favorite but everything i have read has pointed to the Cavs- but they prob. have the least money and smallest role for him.

some guys go for money and role- like Joe Johnson----- some go for the ring- like DWill.....

itll be interesting to see what Bogut does- as a guy who already has a ring- itll be interesting- i just saw he was only 32- i thought he was older than that for some reason.

And the tank marches on, the Kings offense looks really bad right now. I've seen some good things from Skal, Buddy, and WCS through these first 3 games, but they're still young so there will be plenty of bad as well. I could see the Nets beating the Kings on Wednesday.

Let's hope so. I want the Kings to win the lottery.

You should have known they'd lose to Chicago. They're 0-3 against them this season. Look for the season sweep at the end of March.

I haven't really looked into the Bosh issue. Is the big risk internal bleeding that no one even knows is happening until it's too late?

apparently Bosh thinks there are certain protocols under which he might be able to play- while the Heat have wanted him to not attempt another comeback after the first two incidents.

bosh gets all that cash regardless if he plays or not- so i dont know why he seems so hell bent on trying to play- but he wont be able to ever got back on the court unless a dr. gives it the okay.

between a loaded schedule, all those road games, Lue's intent to rest LeBron, getting JR back, and integrating the new(er) pieces to the team- its gonna be a tough month. I hope they start it out with a win vs. Boston and get that lead up to 5 games which will be a nice little cushion.

LeBron James and the Cavaliers were awesome in February, but what about March?

From a scheduling perspective, it's the Cavs' worst month. They play 12 of 17 on the road, starting (have we mentioned this?) in Boston, against the team chasing them for first in the East.

Lue has already said he will rest James and Kyrie Irving in March -- not the whole month, mind you, but periodically -- to make sure they're legs are fresh for the playoffs.

From March 17-30, they'll play six of seven on the road, including another cross-country trip that opens in Los Angeles (flying there from Cleveland, of course) and finishes in Charlotte. They'll play the Celtics, Hawks, Clippers, Spurs, Bulls, and Rockets (all playoff teams right now), as well as the Pistons, Heat and Nuggets (playoff possibilities) away from The Q.

"It's the NBA, man. You have to love every part," Irving said. "Twelve games, especially on the road, in hostile environments and you have to love it. You have to love it."

March is also a month of integration for this team. Deron Williams has yet to play a game. The Cavs could add Andrew Bogut in the next few days. If not him, then they'll likely sign another big man. Whoever it is (unless it's Anderson Varejao) will have to learn new teammates.

Doesn't mean shit was Lue says.
Its whatever James wants.
Lue said they were going to rest vs OKC until James decided they were going to play.
Right?

I guess you could say Thompson didn't become elite until 13/14

but in 12/13 he averaged 16.6 ppg compared to Curry's 23 ppg and the team only went 47-35

Curry has only been elite for a couple years, while he was better than Klay for awhile before he was elite he still had Klay alongside him. Kyrie's best player was Tristan and he had Waiters lol

Re-occurring blood clots. It'd be one thing if he had a one-time occurrence. He had blood clots in back-to-back seasons which cut his respective seasons short around February. When the Heat did his physical last offseason, it appeared that they found another event (his 3rd) that would suggest another clotting issue was coming. Meaning he has to be on blood thinners and wouldn't be able to do full contact practice. When you're on blood thinners, any type of blow to head and you're going to be 6-feet under. Spo would never play Bosh in this case, it'd be a waste of his salary on the bench. This is the same guy that was on the court at the same time as Hank Gathers was when he died.

Bosh thinks?

Lets see Bosh play in a street pick up game vs continuing to run his yap.
