Deron Williams has cleared waivers, according to sources. He is expected to sign with the Cavs

sure glad we didnt pick up some dleaguer or use the trade exception on jameer nelson or shelvin mack or tj mccnonnel or jose calderon....

Deron Williams, Derrick Williams and Kyle Korver---- nice job by David Griffin.

i really dont want terrence jones to go to the Warriors- the last thing iwent them to have is a credible big man outside of draymond.

Don't know why Joerger likes to start the vets. I wish he would start Skal/WCS and give Papa G some minutes. See what we got here.
I guess during his time in Memphis he liked playing vets over the younger players, at least that's what I've read. The younger players struggled in the first half outside of Skal, which isn't surprising because they are young. I'd like to see some WCS/Skal starts together as well, along with Buddy Hield. As nice as the win was Thursday, the Kings should focus on keeping their pick to help build towards the future.

@Mecca

not for long term- but for a playoff run-

Deron Williams or Delly?

Deron....even if he's only good for a playoff run.

Dude's like Felton will kill to sign there next Summer.

I told you a month ago that Bogut and Williams would shake loose.

I hope the Jazz don't do him like the Clippers did Chauncey....lol

That was some cold shit when they snuck in and claimed him.

I thought this was interesting--- D. Will ALMOST joined the Cavs a couple years ago- but didnt want to just take the mini mid level....i bet he saw how much fun it looked going for a title and decided its time to at least give it a try. Thats pretty crazy his agent basically warned off other teams not to mess with him because his intention and wish was clearly to come to "The Land".

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Deron Williams cleared waivers and has confirmed his intent to join the Cavs for the remainder of the season, according to a source with direct knowledge of the arrangement.

There were no takers on the waiver wire for Williams and what's left of his $9 million contract, though it is believed Williams' powerful agent, Jeff Schwartz, warned interested parties not to claim his client -- who wanted to join the Cavs.

There were at least eight teams believed to have the cap space to claim Williams via waivers, and at least one -- the Utah Jazz -- tried to trade for him, has a great chance to reach the playoffs, and is below the minimum payroll teams are required to spend each season.

Williams, 32, is in his 12th season and is a five-time All-Star. A source said he was close to joining the Cavs in the summer of 2015, after Cleveland lost in the Finals to Golden State, but signed with the Mavericks for much more money than the Cavs could offer at the time.

Injured his wrist pretty bad the last game before the all-star break. He played in the all-star game, and is now sitting out because of the aforementioned injury.

Also competed in 3 pt contest.

i wonder where bogut ends up...

I like Jones for them.

The kid can play.

I wish he would go to a Team like Miami instead.

He'd get way more minutes.

Bogut is tough...

I don't think he goes to the Spurs....

They just signed Dedmon and Pau is back.

He could have gone to Houston and declined.

Maybe the fact that they are winning changes that?

He could go to the Cavs for revenge.

But, I don't think he's wired that way.

So.....I'll say Warriors with the Cavs a close 2nd.

Not NBA related, but love it when my Canes beat Duke. Ever since joining the ACC, Coach K has had to have a steady service of Coach L's dick.

Tucker looked like a better pick up than Ibaka last night.

But, I think Serge will help get them passed the Celtics.

Serge can score and defend. I still think serge is the better pickup. But tucker makes them a lot tougher team. Playing carrol, tucker and ibaka at the 5 are all above average defensive players. And ibaka isn't a slouch on the switch on defense, defends the pick and roll well. Him at the 5 spaces the floor

They are gonna have some decisions to make this Summer.

I wouldn't max him and Lowry.

Maybe one, not both.
