If I'm Magic, the first phone call I make is to Jerry West. I don't think West leaves the Warriors, even though his contract with them expires at the end of the season. The reason I think he'll stay is because he has equity now in the team. But it never hurts to ask and at worst, he might be willing to provide him some insight.

The Lakers already hired Luke. Might make sense if they tried to poach some of the Warriors FO too.

We got a good shot as his son works for the Lakers, and the kid has been doing a great job

I originally thought the Klay/Pachulia for Brook Lopez for "rim protection" was the worst, but there's another one even worse than that.

So here's a question? Why would Indiana be interested in Jahlil Okafor? Turner is probably better than him and they have a capable backup with Al Jefferson.

Dude, you are stuck with gay and his player option.

Look at what the Grizz are going thru with Parsons.

Nobody will offer Rudy a multi year at big money.

Unless I'm mistaken, this can only mean one thing -- the 76ers are actually trading Okafor and a bunch of picks & prospects for Paul George.

Or maybe they'd just rather have Okafor on the floor if they're going to have a center that doesn't offer much defensively. But what do you really give up for a player like that? Maybe they can buy Okafor at a huge discount.
