I left him off mostly becuase he didnt move...most of all those other guys moved....in fact i think all did

I was thinking of putting Al Horford onthere becuase as well as Boston has played- i dont think Horford has been great....its not a bad deal now but its gonna be bad by the end of it.

Agree on Horford.
He's a nice player, but nothing unique or special.
Just a welcome victim of all the extra cash flying around.

I heard opinions today that teams would offer Otto Porter max money this summer.

I think Wiz/Celts both beat the Raps in a best of 7.
I know last season means nothing this season, but let's not forget a Boshless Heat pushed them to 7.
the development of Otto Porter really has made a HUGE freaking difference....a Big 3 of Wall/Beale/Gortat is just pathetic....the fact that Porter developed and has become a really good player has really helped them.

That was the Bennett draft- before the Cavs won the lotto- and during the season- i was just hoping they would get the 5th or 6th pick and take Porter. Obviously that is a long long time ago- but iliked his game at Georgetown a lot.

Its taken him a while- but if that kid doesnt get a max contract this offseason- its gonna be DAMN close.

Channing Frye is playing some great ball tonight. Ill be pist if they lose this game and waste this kind of effort.

It's pretty much plug and play though for the Cavs at that position.
Not in anyway trying to take away from Loves season, but tons of NBA players can make a high % of wide open shots.

God....the Lakers just fucked up so bad signing Deng and Mozgov. Porter would be perfect for them. Listening to Magic today...him talking about bringing in Kobe - at least it would bring some of the mystique back to the team and you might be able to pry away a guy like that. Imagine going to a meeting- and instead of seeing wittle Jimmy- you get led around my Magic and Kobe......THe Lakers are gonna try on Heyward but they wont come close on him. Porter would be amazing for them- but they cant just spend all their cash like that when they have so little flexibility becuase of Deng and Mozgov taking up about a 1/3 of their cap space.

honestly you know what i think happened? Jim Buss was worried about getting fired so he panicked and tried to do as much as he could do to get the team to try and make a playoff run THIS YEAR. He was probably pissing himself with excitement in November until reality hit and the floor fell out from under him....and now- you see Jeanie and Magic taking over and they are just disgusted they have to watch a guy who just signed a 4 year deal take DNP-CD's since its better to play the young guys- even young guys like Nance, Robinson and Black-- who combined make about half what Mozgov does and honest to God- all 3 of them, if they arent better, are damn close to just as good. Thats what happens when organizational goals do not matchup to the goals of Jimmy Buss because his position was at stake. you get short sighted signings like Mozgov and Deng so a guy can try and save his ass and now magic and jeanie have to clean up the mess.

I would go Beale with the spot opened up by Love on the All Star team. He deserves it.

Of course I'm hoping Whiteside.
It would be nice to have at least 1 real C on the roster to bang with Cousins, Gasol and Jordan.
On top of that, he said he would actually play hard.

Derrick Williams was a good pickup, i thought he was trash...but he is shooting 83%(only 3 games) and avg around 10 ppg and plays defense

He was 5/8 tonight with 6 rebounds and 13 points and got the winning steal

I'm sure Haberstroh won't tell you anything about what Hassan said today though right. The guy clearly has something against Hassan. Everytime you post something about Hassan, it is coming from Haberstroh.

Habestroh is a shade above Windy in terms of quality. No wonder Fox Sports is closing in on ESPN real fast.

He's a bust considering the position he was drafted in. But he'll still find himself around in the league as a decent role player.

Apparently the Lakers has a meeting with Larry Sanders who is looking to get back in the league. This could be an intriguing move if he's worked out his issues. Seems like a potential low risk/high reward type of deal.

They'll have to release someone and Metta seems the most likely candidate even though everyone loves the guy from his teammates, to fans, to the FO. I wonder what the rules would be on releasing Mozgov since it looks like he's not going to be playing much anymore.

Hope that someone's willing to trade for him or have a really expensive cheer leader on the bench.

I don't want anything to do with Gordon Hayward. He's a Jack in a deck of cards that would fit right in with all of the other Jacks that Boston has. Same for Otto Porter. I'd rather chill on the money that we do have(max contract with a little manuvering), and then look toward the future as we either keep the young guys that we have and wait to compete way down the line, or wait to see if something goes down in 2018. The only thing I'm focused on is who will be the GM(if we clean house), seeing the young guys development, and seeing if we can LUCK into getting a top 3 pick

Kings win their 4th straight, although the win streak ends tomorrow at GSW. Cousins with 40/12/8 but 6 turnovers. I guess they care more about trying to make the playoffs then they do getting a high draft pick.

I'm hoping we go on ahead and move Lou Williams. His trade value is through the roof, and there are plenty of teams that could use him

Huge night of basketball tonight. 28 out of the 30 teams are in action. The only 2 who are not playing are the Bulls and Wizards
