Let's hope the Heat get back to the business of losing tonight (pretty sure they will) and get as many lottery combinations as possible.


As far as the Sixers, yes, I guess, they are improving, but they are still a long ways away from winning anything and the last few years for the fans were beyond brutal.
Sucking for a season or 2 I can support under these circumstances, but I couldn't support what they've done.

Based on our schedule, I think this stretch of winning games may continue. Good thing for us is outside of Brooklyn, there's really no terrible teams that we have to be concern about. Right now it is basically the nets, heat, & lakers in that lowest tier. Then teams like Philly, Phoenix, Dallas, & Orlando are in the tier above.

Cavaliers A number that shocked me this week: the Cavs are 27th in defensive rebound percentage. That's always been an area of strength, but they've moved toward so many shooters, they've surrendered offensive boards. Pay attention to that as it could come back to hurt them at some point.

The Raptors are imploding now as well. Lost to Phoenix last night. Not good especially with Boston 1 1/2 games behind them now and Derozan out for a couple games with injury.

BTW for those of you who do not know, tonight is start of TNT Monday. There will be games on TNT every Monday til the last Monday of the season which is April 10th.

Its easy to be dismissive of the Cavs struggles because its happened the last 2 years and didn't get in the way of their title run.

BUT... that is history. The fact that they've overcome poor stretches in the past doesn't guarantee they will this time. I hope they're taking it seriously. There's no need to panic or overreact, but they definitely have some work to do.

No one will bring this up. But that might be the difference between the Warriors winning the ship this year. Durant was always a subpar defender up until this year. From the games I've seen, his defense has improved dramatically.

I think the Cavs need 1 more big. I think the bench of Frye ... then moving James to the PF ... isn't great.

I haven't heard any Bogut rumors lately.
