2016-17 NBA Regular Season Thread

I'm really hoping so but the bad thing is if someone knocks off GSW, it likely means another Cavs title. I prefer both not make it but Cleveland is making it unless Boston or Toronto makes a huge move at the deadline. Toronto is really not that far away IMO from competing with Cleveland. They also are still missing Sullinger but they need another small piece or 2.

I'd like to see Toronto win the East, they have some great fans and need revenge on Cleveland after the last ECF and ALCS. The offense is fine and Sullinger will help rebounding, defense might need to get better though. I could see SA having a chance vs the Cavs, but not the Clippers. GSW probably has the best chance and I definitely don't want to see that. Same old shit is boring unless your team is the one always making it there.

Yep at least when Lebron was in Miami, the west was up for grabs. To have the same 2 teams in the finals 3 straight seasons doesn't interest me at all. I would be all for a clips/raptors finals

I can't stand the Clippers and definitely don't want them winning it all, but if it were them and GSW in the WCF I'd rather see a new team get there. I get that it's been like this in the past with 5 or less legit title contenders, but it doesn't mean seeing the same teams playing in June 3 or 4 years straight is enjoyable for fans of crappy teams. It's gonna be awesome to see the Kings as the powerhouse team always making the NBA finals.....I might be waiting a while for that to happen though.

David Lee is a pro

I never really watched his game that much elsewhere, but he just seems like a great roleplayer

So far, he has been an incredible pickup for the Spurs in a very specific limited but effective role.

Yup. We're moving on. He's trying to stick and twist that knife. Has no effect, except it makes him look petty and not as endearing to Heat fans that still want him back.

looks like time has finally caught up with Dirk.....i hated to bet against him before the year started as his skill set is one that would age well- but its clear Dirk took a big step back this last offseason. The beginning of the end is here....that is for sure.

With Bogut and Barnes...they have some future pieces, but they have a LOT of commited cap...i gotta say- i greatly overestimated this team this year. One of my not-so-great calls in my pre-season predictions.

dude... i know what it feels like with the Browns...it sucks being a fan of a team that is just helpless. I actually have hope for this new Browns regime though...i dunno....

it sucks - the Kings have had so many lotto picks, etc.....just cant get it to work- such a good basketball town too when they are good....those Kings teams were a lot of fun back i nthe early 2000's.

LeBron and a lot of the Cavs are supposedly going down to C-Bus for The Game....best rivalry in all of sports.....hopefully they dont look passed tonight game- hard to do--- but it is #2 vs. #3 in The Game and the best rivalry in sports.

Browns and Kings are similar, both hired new HC's that should help them in the future. Failing so many times in the 1st round/lottery can really screw over your team, getting somebody as talented as Cousins doesn't mean success if you don't add more great young players around him. The franchise is a mess and they need to rebuild, along with smartening up on how to draft.

Its #2 vs #3 and Michigan is using their backup QB. Ohio State is clearly going to win
