Welp, back when the Lakers blew the Warriors out in the first game they played, I said that they would be made to pay for their insolence.

I was right.

Would have been nice to have had Russell and Randle so we could have only lost by 25.

Dude, this will be the new norm for everyone that plays the Warriors, sans the Spurs and Cavs.

I agree with this. Right now if these teams play a 7-game series, it'd be interesting, but I'd give the Cavs a slight nod. But the Warriors keep getting better and the scary thing is they're sharing the ball....A LOT. This is the Warriors offense we were expecting when they gave up some players for Durant. The playoffs are usually a different thing, but it's scary for the rest of the league that the Warriors aren't having as much of a problem co-existing then some originally had thought.

I give the Cavs the edge too....right now.

In a couple more months, maybe not.

I miss the days when you would have 4 or 5 teams in the west who can make the finals and 3 teams out east who can make the finals. This is bad

was watching some of the Twolves game last nigth..and Wiggins didnt play great- but you can just tell watching him that this guy is going to be a star. He is still so young. This is on a night when Love went crazy and had 40.

3-4 years from now when Love is 31 years old, and Wiggins is 24-25 years old and one of the best playesr around- that trade is gonna really hurt.

If the Cavs get a couple titles out of it though- well worth it......shit- it would have been intriguing to see a Kyrie/Wiggins combo once they hit their primes though...

So its November 24th and the Warriors won games by the following margin:

23,26, 21, 24, 37, and 43.

And remember they started off the year kind of slow by their standards.

I thought the Cavs were kinda crazy trading Wiggins for Love. Thought the combo of Irving/Wiggins could have been a good 1 for 10 years or so. But the trade paid off for the Cavs by winning it all last year.

I'll give you the like on this one as this is probably going to be your most accurate post of the day.

It's a very troubling trend....for the rest of the league that is.

The one thing they need to focus on though is putting McGee to the fire as that's the weak part on this team right now - rim protection.

For as good as the Dubs look right now, that's the one thing that's the deep concern with this team as their title hopes may fall on McGee of all people to play an efficient series against the Spurs/Clips/Cavs in possibly 3 straight rounds.

I stand by that it's still a bad trade considering Wiggins has the higher ceiling than that of Love. Having said that, winning a title ends any argument as it's now worth it. Cleveland could never win a title with this core again - but it was worth it for them considering they broke the curse.

How sure are you that the Cavs can't win another title w/ the team they currently have? That sounds like the same mumbo-jumbo said about them last year everyday until they won it all.

I was speaking in hypothetical terms saying that worse case scenario even if the Cavs don't win again, it was still worth it. If you look at an earlier post, I said as of this moment despite how good the Dubs look right now I'd still say Cleveland wins a 7-game series with them if they were to play right now. There's no argument to be had here as the Cavs definitely have a legitimate shot of contending.

Edit: Meant repeating.

My bad there. Misunderstood what you were saying. Hey hope you have a Happy Turkey Day!

I think they are something like 9-0 since their loss to the Lakers.

Someone should start a thread about how we can put the Warriors' 'chemistry problem' to bed....

I'm a big lakers fan for the rematch tmr night but hard to see them winning with no Russell

Agree. Lakers tend to play much better at home though. We should only lose by about 25 this time.

It will be interesting to see what adjustments if any get made Friday in LA, same teams again. Do the Ws blow them out again by so much? Kind of doubt it.
