well ike u said- if you are the twolves or sixers just use it to trade for a vet.

you think a top 5 pick in THIS draft could nab you a good vet? i certainly think it could get you a very very solid player.

Deangelo is a scorer who can create.

He's not a pass first, playmaker.

Ball is a distributor who can score.

Both have great size and have complimentary games.

Think poor man's Wall and Beal.

...but, Lonzo doesn't have Walls speed and is a notch lower in athleticism.

Then if it a poor man's Wall and Beal why pair them? Obviously, you have players around them but I want a defensive guy first, (like Kawhi when he first came into the league) alongside one of those great scorers. Idk it is all about they progress, the GM's know more than me so I am glad I don't have to make that decision lol

Good comments -- I generally agree. But I'm not sure Russell will ever be great without the ball. He seems like a guy who mainly stands around until the ball gets in his hand.

Ball could cover taller players. I think he will be a pretty good defensive player.

Hopefully Ball can get his shots off. (he'll have to expand his game more -- be a big threat to penetrate) I saw him not be very impactful (shooting) in some games this year. (including throughout the season)

Mainly it would be fun to have LeVar around watching the games -- and giving us funny quotes. (it sounds the High School coach should be sick of him -- as his younger sons go through the program -- e.g., LeVar would change defensive schemes for his boys by yelling from the stands)
