but gordon isnt comingi n and replacing some scrub ass who shouldnt be starting and is playing 16 minutes a game.[/QUOTE

And his team hasnt been devestated by injuries all season.
You cant be this stupid, can you?
Not every situstion is apples to appples.

Meanwhile, the Heat made their historic run with those 'scrubs', including destroying the Cavs twice.

Anyone with a brain has done nothing but praise and give them credit.

i could see that.

itll be interesting- i think thomas, bradley and smart are all up for extensions after next year. combine that with the draft picks and trade possibilities and cap space- and its really hard to figure what the Celtics will look like just a couple years from now.

They will be good - we know that--- but how good and how high will there ceiling be? thatll be interesting to see.

I just don't see this current core getting to the ultimate goal. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed the season & have caught every Celtics game that's been televised here. But I'd still like to see Ainge do something w/ the roster this off season. And as far as draft picks if done right things should work out great. But the problem w/ CBB is just because someone has a damn good/great college career doesn't mean they'll have the impact a franchise is looking for. Plus we've all seen way too many so-called can't-miss players stink it up.

One more thing. I think the level of play in both the NBA & CBB would improve if there wasn't this 1 & done stuff. Not many CBB players w/ only 1 year of college hoops is truly ready for the NBA game.

if the Cavs get another title- that would be amazing. If they dont get another title- they will just gear up for another deep run into the playoffs next year. Thats the beauty of it. By no means do i expect the Cavs to win the title EVERY year LeBron James is in Cleveland- its just unrealstic

but every year LeBron James is in Cleveland they will have a great chance. I much prefer that over being a shit team in the basement of my conference. Every year they will go deep into the playoffs and be entertaining as hell to watch. No team can be "guaranteed" to win it every year--- but i DO guarantee you the Cavs will be right up there with every team in the leaguee to have the best chance at doing so.

you will be watching LeBron James go deep into the playoffs and winning games and one of the best in the league for YEARS to come. Itll be YEARS before the King isnt making jaws drop on The NBA on TNT- and hearing Ernie, CHuck and Kenny and Shaq talk about him and the Cavs in the playoffs.

enjoy! ;) hahahahaah

Meanwhile back in the real world...the Cavs still only have one NBA championship.

I dont know if it was posted earlier, but

The SPURS (by virtue of beating Memphis and New York this week) now have wins over each of the 29 other teams.

This is the 3rd year in a row for them...which is a record in the expansion era
The 76ers did it back when the league was between 18-23 teams for seven seasons.

It doesnt mean anything, but it is a neat little record.
Usually teams are undone by some cross-conference foe that sweeps the series 2-0.

Golden State has a chance to match the feat if they are able to beat SA in Texas next week.

saw that posted on CBSsports.com last night...

great season accomplishment...

As a Laker fan you should know better than to say the wrong side of 30. When KAJ was 32 he helped the Lakers go to the Finals 8 times winning 5 of them. I better hide...

Awesome.....

After his mother paid $600 for secondary-market tickets for the Hawks-Warriors game, the family was denied entry to Philips Arena. The tickets weren’t valid. StubHub was unable to replace all the tickets in the sold-out game. Devastated at the time, Isaiah thought he’d have to wait another year to see Curry play. That is until the Warriors stepped in. Warriors owner Joe Lacob got word of the story and flew Isaiah and his mother in for Sunday’s game against Memphis. They were given courtside seats right next to Lacob. And, yes, he got a chance to meet Curry.

Damn right. The real Showtime Lakers didn't get grooving until they drafted Kurt Rambis in '82. Don't laugh! I got the info to back it up. The Lakers won it all Kurt's rookie year. They won back to back titles in '87 & '88 (that 1 from '87 is still questionable) but they let Killer Kurt escape to the Charlotte Hornets. Putting an end to the Showtime Lakers as we knew them. The Lakers would have beaten the Pistons in '89 if they had him.

Can't argue w/ that, Rambis was a goofy ass.:D Although 1 thing I do miss from 80's NBA is the he great rivalries. It could be a long before the league sees something like the Celtics/Lakers & Pistons/Bulls from back in the day. Then of course MJ just had to start winning & kicking everyone's ass. He ruined basketball!
