the Lakers, Sixers, Magic, Kings, Nuggets, Pistons, Hornets, Heat- have to be kicking themselves.

Turner has been great but I still think some people might take the risk on Russell, Cauley-Stein, or even Winslow over him. It's funny because he's probably been one of the most consistent of that group -- but I could see people going with potential/position over him.

In retrospect, the Okafor pick is such a bad pick for the 76ers. You win some, you lose some, I guess. He wasn't even the best center taken by the 76ers in 2015.

Were the Celtics all of a sudden a "bad team" when they went through a rough stretch a few weeks ago?

cmon now. Lets be real. The Cavs are a great team. People put way too much emphasis on a good week or a good month- or a good 2 months. Who cares?

what matters for the Cavs- is the same thing that mattered at the beginning of the year- getting to the playoffs healthy and rested and ready to make another run.

If the Cavs only won 45 games or won 70 games- it gets them absolutely nothing when the real NBA season starts.

the most important things that i see on the Cavs--- right now theya re heahtly. Right now Love is playing his best ball as a Cav. Right now Kyrie is playing the best ball of his career. Right now LeBron is healthy and playing well.

the rest is just noise.

you will see soon enough. Now- if the Cavs lose in the East or are pushed by the Celtics or get their ass kicked by the Warriors or Spurs or whoever shows up to the Finals---- ill be the first to say i was wrong. But i wasnt wrong last year- and i wont be wrong this year. take it to the bank.

When did I ever say the Cavs won't make the finals? Find me one post. I always said Cavs in 5 if they play the Heat.

I do however think they would have a more difficult time in the 2nd round and ECF with the state of their defense at moment.

First round shouldn't be much of an issue unless they drop to the 7th seed and end up playing Milwaukee or Indy.

I think they sweep the Hawks and beat Miami in 5. I think those other 2 teams can possibly win 2 games but both should win at least 1 as well.

best guy in that draft was giannis at 12.

Bad misses happen in all drafts. Everyone initially thought that Booker was going to be a decent player in the NBA. The Heat were rumored to have been wanting Booker that draft. Then Winslow fell to them, which in some ways is now unfortunate. Because the Heat never bothered to even look at him because they didn't think he'd be available to them. He just turned 21 so he still has some time - he's a really solid defender, but man his offensive game needs work.

honestly here's the way i look at it...

the post season is a grind. and if your team can't/doesn't play good defense they won't last long...

in other words let the Cavs continue to do what they're doing. "they're just fine"...
