We all know lue is liar. With Boston hot on their ass, i bet that rest thing went out the window. They don't want to make their road to the finals more difficult by needing to beat both Washington and Boston to make the finals

Cavs D is horrendous over a large sample size.
Also, Wiz were a miracle James shot from beating them last time.
Cavs might beat them in a series but dont act like the Wiz wouldnt be very confident about their chances.

As for the wizards we have beat them in so many playoff series I lost track

One thing these last 2 games against the Cavs proved is that the Wizards can get whatever they want on this cavs defense

Teams that dont play defense....almost never win

in the last 40 years, only 3 champion teams have finished outside of the top 10 in defensive efficiency
2 of those were right there at (11th an 12th)

I trust Cleveland to turn it all back on. Maybe their defense is simply a function of boredom.
I believe they can flip a switch and play the solid defense of 2015 and 2016 when it matters.

But, they are not winning anything with this horrible defense they play during the regular season.

Of course all that means is that my SPURS will get a focused and pissed off Cavs team to deal with next.

It would probably have been better if they cruised to an easy win vs Washington

He is the only coach who I see always using the injury excuse.

I hate Urban Meyer as much as any coach, but got I respect the shit out of that douche bag. His motto on making excuses, and I'm paraphrasing here - "As soon as I make excuses, it allows our players to make excuses."

Using injury excuses doesn't get your team set up for the playoffs. This is the stretch run where you fine tune things your team needs to work on. But I'm not complaining, let him keep doing his thing.
