it won't matter what kind of backhands he hits. nole is too solid off the ground for fed's backhand to bother him much at all.

fed needs to run around his backhand if he has any shot. sure, it lets nole go to the open deuce court or go behind fed if he takes off too early to cover the deuce court shot, but he has to take that chance.

You might be right, but I'd rather just move Nole around, even if he's the best baseline player, than hit slices that are right to him and that don't make him move.
