That was a hectic finish. What a fun series so far. I hope we get seven games. And is it greedy to ask for a little overtime?

I was thinking the same re OT. So I looked it up as I thought it was fairly unusual for a Final series to have no OT.

Well, I only had to go back to 2009, so I guess its not that rare.

holy shit did tampa bring it those last two minutes. Think they waited a bit too long to pull the goalie, thankfully, another minute of that pressure would have had crawford like Denis Lemieux twitching while Pierre was trying to interview him. Tampa shows that speed that the Blackhawks usually show to other teams.

Halfway through game 4 against a 20yr old backup tender and the Hawks have 3 shots on goal... are the Bolts that much better?

The Bolts are good, but Quenneville was mixing up the lines and the Hawks had no rhythm. Once he reverted to familiar lines, they got it together.

First star - Seabrook's stick

Maybe that makes up for the completely blown coverage on Hedman on the Bolts winner two nights ago. Yowza.


Amazing how a simple lapse of concentration has been the difference in each of the last two games. That's how evenly matched the teams are. In game 3, Seabrook decided to not engage Hedman and he made a beauty of a pass. Last night Garrison was looking the wrong way and instead of stepping into Saad and knocking the puck off his stick, the game winner went in.

Vasilevsky only let in two, but if the Hawks had fired 30+ at him... that could have gotten ugly. Some really juicy rebounds. 3 posts helped him too.

Lightning have played a great series....given the Blackhawks a tremendous run for the money....and in the process, they are learning on what it takes to become a champion...

Still think Chicago pulls this series out, but the Bolts are certainly causing more anxiety than I was anticipating.

Buckhead is actually part of the city of Atlanta though. It's a city district rather than a separate town/city like Mississauga and Glendale.
