The one thing the guys can control each day is their effort. Elvis's effort has been awful. So have some others. And they get caught napping on the double steal...

Glad the crowd is cheering him. Colby rebounded quite well after the second.

If he just hadn't had so many bad pitches in the first and had given up 2 instead of 4, this would have been one terrific outing. But it was still pretty darned good.

I don't know if he did the fastball up and in on purpose, but I liked the outcome. Valbuena was way too comfy crowding the plate.

I'm serious about elvis, and I don't think its knee jerk. His effort and head have been shit going back to last year and he's received no consequences for it. If he can't perform better then call Alberto up and let him think about it on the bench.

I know we're all for Banister. But as of today, our effort, focus and judgement leaves a lot to be desired. And that, at least to a large extent IMO, falls on the manager.

In-particularly with EA. Why was he not given the take sign at 3-1 when he's playing like the village idiot? At this point in his career, he has not earned the right to be turned lose to make a good decision. Make one for him please.
