1) We were picking 10th yall. Flowers was gone and Collins dropped obviously. It was either reach for a O-line, reach for a WR - which we don't need, or HOPE on a CB. So we took the #1 RB.

2) Fisher never just gives the starting job to anyone and Gurley needs to heal up. Mason didn't get a chance really until week 5 or 6.

3) The guy reminds me of Adrian Peterson. Not that much talent available at #10 so why not give it a try.

4) Zac Stacy is going to be moved. And btw he was drafted in the 6th round. Benny was undrafted. So we needed another horse in the backfield.

This was the BPA and might be the most talented player in the draft.

SO for any of those still doubting, watch the video and if you're still not happy - then let us know who you would have picked.

Kind of feel bad for Trey Watts, doubt he hits the field unless its Special Teams or they get rid of Benny

OK guys #41. Gurley will be a beast, pure and simple if: we get a line to run behind!

Jake Fisher will be gone
Donovan Smith will probably be gone

Take a chance on La'el Collins?
or draft

Tre' Jackson or AJ Cann or TJ Clemmings

I say Tre' Jackson, bit of a reach in projections but a pure NEED! Also I would be on the phone immediately after Jackson is picked to Barksdale's agent and give him the money and go QB in 3rd.

If I'm in the Rams front office, I would've spent all day today finding out as much as I could about the Collins situation. If it looks like he really does have nothing to do with this and they can confirm this somehow, I might take him with our second rounder. Why take the chance another team is thinking the same? The guy has first round talent, we all know it, just not sure he'd be there when we pick in the third if it can be proven this is a BS concern.

I'll be very surprised if he doesn't have anything to do with the murder rap up. :nono: I don't think they would want to pull him out of the draft like they did if he didn't. he just lost guaranteed millions of dollars.

A lot of people think Collins won't even be drafted because of this. I hope for his sake that he had nothing to do with it.

Yes they wanted to pull him out of this weekends draft, if they could put him into the supplemental draft. That move makes me think they're pretty confident he'll be cleared.
He wouldn't have lost all that much money(if any) if he was taken high in the supplemental draft....

True some are saying that. Then you have guys like Sean Payton who are saying Collins will be taken tonight.

Interesting Sean Payton didn't take Collins though - they took the OT from Florida Humphries. I'm sure they have heard more of the story being 1.5 hours away from Baton Rouge.

Hell I would have sent someone down there last night to get the scoop if I was the Rams.

Scott Pioli said a first round pick was the equivalent of something like 40,000 man hours of work. Teams have a good idea about who Collins is off the field. If he doesn't go rd2 then he is in serious trouble

Sidenote - glad you guys are positive. There is like 5 negative articles on my Facebook feed from a troll named 3k so it's good to see that people understand that you can address the oline in rounds other than rd1 if you have left tackle figured out

Clayton called the Gurley pick yesterday afternoon.

No reason to flip on this pick. Ask the troll who else he would have drafted? Or just delete him.

Is that the same 3k from Turf Show Times Clayton?

If so, here is his article 'Against Todd Gurley'...

2015 NFL Draft: The Argument Against Taking Todd Gurley With the 10th Pick - Turf Show Times

BTW - This article is so slanted and laughable...

Good question. Maybe more info has surfaced between last night and this morning when he made the comment? I guess we will see tonight...

Yes sending an investigator there would definitely have been the right move, I hope the Rams were smart enough to do that. Its not like they can't afford the cost

F. Lee Chy1127 says he will not be charged. He was going to do a paternity test to see if the baby was his. Not a suspect in the shooting. As the alleged father having to take a paternity test, the thought would be murder for hire. Timing was really bad if he is innocent.

McKinney might be another surprise pick if he's still on the board.
