Decided to make this thread now because I just realized that pretty much all the match-ups are set for the west unless crazy shit goes down in the last 2 nights.

1) Golden State vs New Orleans/OKC
2) San Antonio vs Dallas ( only way this changes is if San Antonio loses to the Pelicans)
3) LA Clippers vs Memphis Grizzlies
4) Portland Trail Blazers vs Houston Rockets ( Houston would have HCA)

Early predictions is GSW over whoever in 5, San Antonio over Dallas in 5, Clippers over Memphis in 6, & Houston over Portland in 6

The East is a hot mess so I won't post anything until wednesday night about that conference.

Dont curse the SPURS and pencil them in already as the #2.

They already lost twice this season to the PELICANS. That is not even close to a gimme game. (50/50)

I am worried that will be the game that crushes their seeding if they lose.

Boston vs Cleveland is now set out East.

Sticky this @trojanfan12

ideal for the Cavs. Out of all the contenders for a week or two ago- Brooklyn, Miami, Indiana, even Charlotte- Boston is the team I wanted the Cavs to play in the first round.

Boston is well coached- but they are super young and dealt their 2 best players during the year- their best player is a sub 6 foot point guard- their 2nd best player (Sullinger in my opinion) I believe is out for the year-

PG- Isiah Thomas
SG- Avery Bradley
SF- Evan Turner
PF- Brandon Bass
C- Tyler Zeller

with: Marcus Smart, Kelly Olynk, Jae Crowder, Jonas Jerebko, Phil Pressey coming off the bench

The Cavs- appear to be healthy- especially since Shumpert and Love have gotten some rest.

PG- Kyrie Irving
SG- JR Smith
SF- LeBron James
PF- Kevin Love
C- Timofey Mozgov

bench: Iman Shumpert, Tristan Thompson, Mathew Dellavadova, James Jones, Kendrick Perkins, Mike Miller, coming off the bench

in my mind- the only question is whether to pick 4 or 5.

Cavs in 4, unless they piss away a game by shooting and missing a ton of 3's.

Everyone is counting Jennings out vs the Cavs because the Pistons were eliminated last week and Jennings has been out for 2 months.

Think hambombs was making a joke of what Jennings said 2 or 3 years ago when Milwaukee played Miami in round 1.

It's looking like the Hawks will get the Pacers...again. Do we have to play these guys every year?

Can't see Indy winning in Memphis so I think you guys will get Brooklyn

The West is just crazy. If the Spurs, Rockets and Grizzlies all win, the Clips, Spurs and Rockets will all finish 56-26 and the Grizzlies will be 1 game behind at 55-27.

Meanwhile, in the East, if the Bucks lose, the 6, 7, and 8 seeds will all be .500 or worse.:L

The way they've been playing lately, I could see them pulling off an upset. I'd actually rather get them than Brooklyn since the Hawks own the rights to swap picks with the Nets. The Nets would be easier, but I'd love to get a high draft pick.

I had forgotten that the Hawks were actually up 3-2 on the Pacers last year when the Hawks were the #8 and the Pacers were the #1

ESPN moved tonight's game to 9:30, so by halftime the Grizzlies will know if the game even matters. Houston and San Antonio both play at 8 ET. If they're locked in the 6th spot, Memphis might shut down their main guys and Indiana will roll. So ESPN may decide who gets into the playoffs.

Everything is just about set right now.

Only thing waiting to be settled is the 5/6 seed out West and final spot out east.

That 3/6 match-up (especially if it is Clippers/Spurs) will be a bloodbath.

GSW may very well get to the finals.

Everything broke perfectly for them tonight
