At least Vargas atoned a little.

Still need a massive lineup change. It's amazing what our starters are actually doing to give us a shot.

I agree, it was nice to see Vagas launch one and Mauer continues to come up big in spots where we need it.

Great to see them string a couple wins together. Now if they can just keep it going.

Hughes with a game that he badly need tonight and we put up some runs!! Man, Buxton not lookin good though.

But who woulda thought in a 5 man rotation of Gibson, Hughes, Pelfrey, May and Milone that Hughes would have the worst ERA of the 5? Or that the worse era in our current rotation is below 4.50?

Very nice so far.

Gonna be hard to make one of them the odd man out once Santana is back. My guess is Milone, but it's not a bad problem to have.

I'm having a hard time predicting That one as well. Milone might just be the one though unfortunately since he's been pretty solid in his last couple starts. I can tell you one thing though, I'm not missing Nolasco at all. But yeah, good problem to have.

It's obviously between Milone and May right now and you are right it wi probably be Milone unless May implodes in his last 2-3 starts before that.

Would be hard to ride May all the way to this point and halt his development like that unless he really deserved the demotion.

12 mil or not. Really hoping Nolasco don't come back though. He just simply doesn't deserve May or Milones spot.

I think it's time to sit Buxton for a game or 2. Just let him catch his breath.

Frustrating loss today with the baserunning gaffes.

Our offense sucks ass.

So Terry Ryan's solution is to keep one of the best young power hitters in AAA, brilliant stuff really.

Well this was a lot more fun. Granted we always destroying shitty ass Danks.

3 hit game for Buxton. Regardless how he does having him lead off does make way more sense. Moves everyone down a spot and has speed in front of doziers extra base power.

That lead off double is one not many get.

Calling for a Buxton benching after he's been up for just a week? Damn, tough crowd.. Lol

I was just thinking something needed to be changed. Who knew leadoff would do it?

Maybe not sitting around and waiting to bat, and letting his head fill up was the trick?!

Hope Molitor let's him go again tomorrow. After reading his pregame comments, it seemed like it was only going to be for this game.

And the "routine" infield single.

And let's not forget Vargas with 4 hits, 4 rbis.

And how is Dozier not even cracking the top 5 for AS votes? :tsk:

Yeah, I guess it makes sense because that's all he's known coming up through the system is batting leadoff. He is a guy you no brainer have leadoff. I know they wanted to bat him 9th to "take some pressure off" and that makes sense too but maybe he's the type that thrives under that pressure and kind of needs it to push him. I guess we will see more tonight as I can't imagine they take him back out of the leadoff spot now.

I am happy to report that Buxton is back in at the top of the order for today's rubber match against the White Sox.

Not sure what that was all about yesterday putting him back at the 9 spot...

Wow, Sale struggled through that bottom of the fourth. Sucks to them! :yahoo:

Now if Hughes can just hold these chumps bats off.
