I feel that throwing two of our prospects in the garbage just to move up four spots in this draft is outrageous considering there does not appear to be a huge gap in talent from the 3rd pick to the 7th. We're going to get a high end forward or defenseman at 7, one way or another.

It looks to me like someone will trade up to 3rd overall, I just hope it's not us. The price is too steep. Now if we were trading up for McDavid or Eichel, that's a different story.

Now they sent Lucic to LA for a 1st(13th overall), Jones and Colin Miller. Does anyone think they might be looking to build up a ton of picks to make a pitch for one of the top 2 picks? I know it sounds carzy but shipping Hamilton out the resigning McQuaid screams crazy to me.
