Remember two years ago when the media didn't want us to take Morin, Morrissey, Pulock, or any defenseman because the Flyers hadn't showed we could develop defensemen? Obviously there is still a lot to prove, but what a difference two years makes

Our defense is looking very nice for the future. We draft a goalie 2nd round. Draft a forward at 29, possibly make a deal to move up and draft a winger.

Our defense could be pretty ridiculous in 3-4 seasons. The only potential issue with that is MacDonald being under contract for 5 more seasons. Otherwise, the coast is clear for the young guys to come in.
