Yeah, it was for leaving the bench. I get they don't want to change the rules on something like that but when you see your teammate get hit like that it's just an instinct to go out and defend him. Really fucked over the Suns, I guess "clutch Horry" is not just got making shots.

Yeah, it was such a punk ass play that you wish he would have made an exception.

But, was it that much worse than what Lambieer, Rodman and Mahorn used to do in the Bad boy days?

I've seen Dudes put in prison for less.

Yeah, that's why I think the commish should have the option of "delaying the sentence" to the following season. Just doesn't seem right that a dirty play can turn a series in favor of the team that committed it by getting players from the other team suspended.

It was similar to a bad boy hit, but in today's NBA we see people get flagrants or ejections for lesser hits, so in the more recent NBA(including 2007) it looks horrible by comparison.

The emotions in the playoffs, there should be some leeway with stuff like that. If a guy does something really dirty that deserves a suspension fine, but just trying to backup a teammate is not something you should miss a playoff game for.

SSS obviously, but Demarcus Cousins is currently shooting 13-28 or close to 50% from 3 through 6 games(5 full games and 2 where he's only played half including tonight). If he can be around 35-40% all season, that'll make him even tougher to guard.

3 game win streak since the team meeting, now 4-7. Great 4th Q comeback, defense stood up at the end holding the Raps scoreless for the final 2:52. Time for a road trip, keep it going Kings!
Cousins now 13-29 from 3, still pretty good.

He's already the best Center in the league (arguably) and now he's added the 3 to his repertoire. It's almost unfair at this point.

I know I praise Kawhi Leonard A LOT (considering his nickname is my username), but I just realized through 8 games (I know, 8 games isn't a lot), he's averaging 21.9ppg on 52.6% from the floor and 8.1rpg. That's incredible. The transition to making it HIS TEAM seems to already be here. Unreal.

Reducing his turnovers and shooting a better FG% are his 2 areas to improve. He's got 1tpg less so far this year than he did last so that's good and his FG% is only 44% but I think shooting 3's is gonna keep him from being over 50%. If he can make the three point shot efficiently I don't mind it.

Even with Lamarcus, it does look like Kawhi's team. I'm happy to see him thriving like he has and even though I really wanted him on the Kings he probably wouldn't have been as good with the dysfunction the franchise has been going through. The defense/rebounding was always there, it was just a question on if he could consistently make the deep shot and shooting 36% for his career so far is pretty good.

Sadly, His mentality is screwed.

So, if I had to pick one guy....

I'd take Drummond.

Boogie is light years better offensively and don't get me started on ft %.

But, DMC is a Cancer and the Kings ownership is gonna ruin this kid by bowing to his tantrums.

I think Drummond will end up being what I thought Dwight Howard would be.

A coachable force on both ends of the floor.

Imagine how good he'd be if he didn't let being a dipshit get in his way.

For all the problems Cousins has caused on the court and with his team/coach(I think any issues of him complaining to refs about calls is overblown because he's definitely not the only star player to do so), he sounds like a cool guy off the court.

Kings' Cousins to pay for funeral of H.S. athlete

Rockets look horrible right now, they're missing some important players on their team but blown out at home again???!
Side note: The Celtics winning by 15 last night in OKC and then on a B2B blowing out the Rockets is pretty impressive. IT is a beast.
