Good game Warriors fans. We probably played our best game of the year but then Klay happened.....then Steph happened in the final minute

One thing I did notice is that Bogut and Green set a huge amount of illegal screens to get Klay and Steph open.....especially Bogut

The key to having a chance anytime you play the Warriors IMO is to play your style and play your game. If you try to beat GSW at their game you're going to get embarrassed. Miami never went to small ball tonight.

Called me crazy but based on what I've seen in the Heat 2 games vs the Warriors this season ( 1 game without Hassan and 1 without Bosh), I think Miami has gave Golden State the most difficulty (on multiple occasions) than any team in basketball this season.

Clear as day moving screen on the 3 that put the Warriors ahead for good.

That's got to be one of the worst missed moving screens I've seen, it's almost like he's grabbing Deng to keep him from getting around the screen. Refs are horrible.

The Bucks beat the Ws -- and were up in the 4th against them in the other game.

Whiteside was so dominant that the Warriors never went to their small ball lineup. Kerr always kept Bogut in whenever Hassan was in. I don't see anyone beating them 4 of 7. Steph and Klay range is just out of this world. I think a few teams can win 2 games vs them but I don't see them being pushed to a 7th game this postseason

Heat impressed me last night. The fact that they were up inside a minute to go despite Curry and Klay hitting almost every shot they took in the 4th is pretty crazy.

Man I enjoyed Whiteside's block on Draymond SO much... but it was quickly ruined by Curry snagging the ball and hitting the 3.

A much better ending to that block would have been Whiteside going the other way for a dunk to put Miami up 3.

That illegal screen will show up on the last 2 minute report. The Warriors, imo, are the worst offenders of the illegal screen... especially Green and Bogut.

It was out of control in the Finals last year.

I forgot about that. Good point. Them and Miami for whatever reason give GSW a lot of trouble

It seems like no matter how good a team is, there are always 1 or 2 teams that, record wise, aren't nearly as good, but matchup well and give them fits. Look like, for GSW, those teams are the Heat and Bucks.

BTW... both of Curry's huge 3's in the last minute came courtesy of Draymond - Illegal Screen - Green.

And Bogut set a illegal screen or 3 in the 4th.

If I'm playing the Warriors in the playoffs, I will have video ready and send it to the league office before the series starts so all the refs can pay extra attention to Bogut and Green on those screens

Illegal screen? Green just wanted to give his opponents some hugs to tell them good game. It looked like he wanted to dance with Deng on the second one, which is weird. Emotional guys do those kinds of things I guess.

The Warriors do get away with a ton of moving screens. Not even worth debating really. I think it really has to do with two things. The Warriors bigs are inconsistent with the way they set the screens, meaning that sometimes the screen is held in place and sometimes they quick release. If the refs are looking for the moving screen, it's much easier to point it out when it's happening on a consistent basis. But you'll see Bogut hold a screen one time and the next release to the high post or for a lob. You'll see Draymond set the screen, but then pop out quickly or cut toward the hoop. The second thing is I think the ref's get fixated on Curry just as much as anyone else. It happens, they're human.

The Warriors also get the least amount of calls for drives to the hoop. Curry gets routinely held and bumped and knocked down on drives and it's almost absurd that he never gets a call. I think it kind of evens out.

The teams that will always give the Warriors problems are teams that have long, athletic wing defenders. What really gave the Heat a leg up last night was playing Deng at the 4. It negated a lot of what Draymond does for the team and really limited his impact on the game. It's why the game was so Klay and Steph heavy, rather than our typical spread the ball offense.

I think Kerr didn't want to go small last night, not because of Whiteside, but because he didn't want Draymond matching up against him. If the Warriors went small it would have opened up the paint causing Whiteside to have to come out to defend on the perimeter. The issue I think was because of the recent back and forth between him and Whiteside, and also Whiteside's known hot-headedness, there was probably a high likelyhood of them either getting tangled up or techinical fouls being assessed. Draymond is getting up to that tech limit for a suspension and it was a way of saving him from himself.
