Bust.

Yeah, and not even necessarily about landing a top spot in the lottery (although I wouldn't hate that). If I thought this team had any shot at the playoffs, I'd be all about playing the vets. But they don't, so let the kids play so they can learn more quickly.
So far it looks like Phil J. did the right thing when he picked Kristaps Porzingis in the draft, as well as reshaping the Knicks roster with his other moves. Knicks are much improved, and the "Zinger" is rounding out into becoming a legit marquee player. The sky's the limit.
Now if only he'd move Derek Fisher upstairs into a front office position, and hired either Thibs or Scott Brooks to coach them.....
Go Bockers!!!
Has Stephen A mentioned anything about Porzingis lately?
James criticizes his content teammates who like @WiggyRuss were just happy to make the finals
"We didn't win anything. We lost. We lost in the Finals. So that's enough motivation for myself. I think we need to understand that. Like, we lost in the Finals. We didn't win. And the team that beat us looks more hungry than we are. So it shouldn't be that way."

Lebron needs to learn the appropriate times to use myself instead of me. That quote was not one of those times.
The 76ers have the Lakers' pick.
It's top 3 protected.
I would suggest that they tank. But, that hasn't paid the dividends it should for Philly or the Knicks.
Actually, in a round and about, ass backwards kind of way...it did work for the Knicks.
They wouldn't have taken Zinger if they had picks 1-3.

Porzingis is the youngest Knick ever to record 25 points and 10 rebounds in a single game.

if Jamal Murray keeps playing the way he's been playing for Kentucky so far, Philly might be able to grab him early in the draft.
Then again, it's Philly. They'll probably find ways to suck even with the loaded frontcourt they have (yes, I consider Noel, Okafor and an injured Embiid to be loaded).
Porzingis, Okafor, Towns---looks like it was a really good draft for big men.Has Stephen A mentioned anything about Porzingis lately?
