Crazy Cavs game. Great job by the Bucks to pull it out- i felt if the Cavs could get to OT they would win. That team is so freaking athletic and long on defense its crazy. Mo Williams is a bad matchup vs. that team. Not gonna win em all.

Nope. Cavs are tough ( no suprise).
As much as I like seeing James lose, chances are the Heat will be in a seeding battle with the Bucks, so a Cavs win wouldn't have really been a bad thing.

Anyway, James had to play a ton of hard minutes for the 2nd night in a row.
The 35 min/gm thing means nothing.

He's too competitive to not abuse his body during the regular season.
Let's just hope it catches up with him during the playoffs.

Jabari looks like his knee is fine.

He put both your power forwards on posters yesterday.

Mo has been a godsend.

It was just one game.....

Once the Cavs get healthy, it will be problems for every Team in the league outside of the Spurs and Warriors.

Gotta believe one of these 3 will be cutting down the nets in June.

The Bucks are a young, ascending team with unlimited potential.

Mo has played great- I mean- the guy is playing great- but against a really long and super athletic team like the Bucks he has his limitations - that would have been an IDEAL game to have Kyrie for late in the 4th and OT in order to get some of those baskets that only a player like he can get against a good defense. Kyrie WILL be back sometime before December 7th- I dont know if it iwll be in November- and I will win my bet- or if itll be first week of December- but thats all the speculation right now......we shall see...

I mean, whenever he returns, he won't be the same for some time.

He has to work himself into shape and I'm sure there will be a minutes restriction for a month or so.

Let him take his time.

Speed and cutting on a dime are a huge part of his game.

No disrespect to the other Teams in the East.

But, As long as he's 80-90% by the playoffs, you guys will likely walk to the ECF.

Facing Curry or Westbrook in the Finals would be a different story though....

I don't get why everyone is saying the Cavs should walk to the ECF/NBA finals this year like this is some sort of a surprise. Everyone on here has said the exact same thing since July

If they don't make the finals, it'd be a MAJOR disappointment imo(and hilarious to see).

Exactly. People are stating that the Cavs should walk to the ECF/NBA Finals like it was not expected. It would be one of the biggest disappointments in recent memory from a title contender if they can't make the finals

Yep. It'd probably be a disappointment too if they don't win the title considering all they've spent to keep this team mostly together but at least that would come against a team like the Warriors or Spurs. Despite having some other good teams in the East, the Cavs should easily make the NBA finals like LeBron has done 5 years straight.

who is saying that its a surprise? everyone that knows basketball at all knows that the Cavs are - to quote Brian Windhorst- the heaviest conference favorite he has seen in a LONG time.

So because it's not a surprise, it shouldn't be talked about?

I don't get your objection.

They should get there, doesn't mean they will.

There's nothing to talk about. They're going to finish with about 60 wins and walk to the finals.........as they should

I wouldn't be shocked.

The Cavs have a better supporting cast outside of their big 3 than the Heatles did that first year together.

But, I don't think the Cavs big 3 is better than Prime Bron, Prime Wade and Prime Bosh.

If that Team lost, this one can too.

The reason it would be an abject failure is because they have a Team salary that looks like the NY Yankees and Bron, once again, tried to stack the deck.

But, a bunch of names on paper does not a Team make.

I'm sure nobody thought the Wallace square, Billups Pistons would beat that All Star Team the Lakers had.

But, it happened all the same.

I think even full strength, The Warriors and Spurs would beat Cleveland.

Time will tell if I'm correct.

Steph Curry is going to embarass whatever pg is standing across from him almost every game.

We know its gonna happen.

The guy he's playing against does too.

But, we all still talk about it the next day :noidea:.

I agree the Heat big 3 was better, especially considering these new back issues LeBron might be having. Cavs do have some depth, but when it comes down to crunch time your big stars have to show up. Cavs would be smart to keep Kyrie in bubble wrap most of this season, he might play some but they'll win enough without him to get a top 3 seed and if he plays during the meaningless regular season and gets another injury the title hopes are hit hard. The $ spent is crazy, especially giving the backup PF that big fking contract. In 2004 some of those lakers all stars were deep past their prime, but it was still awesome to see the team without a superstar take them out. The Cavs and Spurs both need to stay/get super healthy because GSW has been awfully fortunate with their health which is why they've been able to win as many games as they last season and now this season.

Yeah, Mailman and the Glove were way out of their prime.

Gary actually got a chip after that. But, he was in the supporting cast.

He and Zo still made a difference for the Heat.

But, you are totally correct about the Lakers.

It's easy to forget because we were watching Prime Shaq and an ascending Kobe.

I remember when Peja was just a role player to hit open shots on the Mavs after all the great years watching him with the Kings, he might have not had as big a role as Gary with Miami but he contributed on a championship team and I was happy for him. That team seemed to have a lot of guys who were either past or near the end of their primes and they just came together for a magical year.

Yeah, I was happy for Peja, Dirk, Tyson, Kidd and the Matrix.

I had high hopes for the Kings when they had Bibby, Vlade, Peja, Bobby Jackson, Christie.

Hey, do you remember when Rick Fox and Christie had that fight and Doug's wife hit him with her purse?
