well now you get into team fit- which is obviously a whole other question- especially for a guy like Whiteside where the center position is dying in the NBA

obviously the answer with Love and Wiggins is that the Cavs wanted a guy that could help them win now- but was still a young in their prime all star.--- and lucky for the Cavs they did the deal- because my main contention for trading Wiggins was i thought hed be a great defender on the perimeter- and thus far he has really been really bad defending----- but obviously the CAvs went with Love because of his position, fit, and where he was at in his career---- Wiggins plays the same position of LeBron and was years from being able to be a major contribotor.

I think Andre Drummond tops the list... hes a monster....

then id probably go Cousins because of his versatility

then id go Towns and Porzingis in that order

then it would be a tough choice between Gobert and Whiteside and Favors


if potential was your defining factor.

hes about 5 years younger and hes the leader of his team- and has been for a couple years now.

You have to give Drummond a TON of credit for doing what he is doing- at his age- with the players he has around him and for the work ethic and great attitude he has had.

i mean- its not even a question - you take Drummond over Whiteside and you not once in your life ever think twice- that is as much of a no brainer out there as there is .

could u imagine if you tried to give whiteside a team of his own without any real kind of help at the age of 20? it would of been a fucking disaster.
