Well, Spo learned under Riley and has two titles as a coach. All you need is competent management in place. Who do the Spurs and Thunder have in place for Riley that is a big name? I'll wait.

Fact - Lebron's only rings were won when he was coached by Spo.

P
Spo will be on his death bed with 2 titles as coach- you know that and i know that.

Spo is the only person that has ever actually coached LeBron.
All others, including current are/were just puppets/pawns.

Nets rolling tonight.
I didn't watch much cause I had my own misery with the Canes, but Nets announcers might of well have just said 'Cavs without James tonight were a pile of shit'.

Wait!! How is this possible? I have it on very good authority that the Cavs are rolling.

Have I been deceived? :noidea:

Lue showed he cares more about getting better than winning, which I think is the right call. He let them struggle when LeBron was on the bench and didn't put him back in till like 4 min left in game.

Hopefully it pays off as they did eventually pull it together somewhat without him. But by then it was anyone's game and bad shooting down the stretch sealed it.

This why assuming anything 5 years down the road is borderline retarded.

Here are some of the likely free agents in 2017:

Chris Paul
Blake Griffin
Russell Westbrook
Greek Freak
Victor Oladipo
CJ McCollum
Kyle Lowry
Gordon Hayward

* sobs inconsolably*

Both guys at the top of your list are gonna leave.

I don't blame them either.

Wait a minute.
You really think that James wanted to go in sooner, but Lue said no?
No chance.
James prob assumed his boys could take care of business without him.
He was wrong.

Couldn't disagree more. Come on dude, LeBron is the last dude to be cool with chilling on the bench while his teammates struggle in a close game.

When Blatt was coaching, situations like these resulted in LeBron checking in early every time. Lue actually held him out longer than the usual 6 minutes.

Which would have been a dumb move if winning had any significance. But in this case it really didn't.

How much of the game did you see?
I saw majority of the 4 th qtr.
Nets didn't build there lead until the last few minutes of the game.
At the 6-7 minute mark. I'll bet the score was tied or within a point or 2 either way.
Neither of us could hear the bench discussions at the timeouts, but I'm pretty certain James never indicated he wanted in earlier and was told no.
My guess is it was mutual because they both felt he prob wouldn't even be needed.

I saw every second of it...which was mostly painful.

I never meant to imply that there was a disagreement. Whether it was completely mutual or not... the fact is he stayed out longer than normal.

LeBron led the team to a lead at the end of the third after trailing by 15. Then the bench came in in the 4th and SUCKED. Turnovers left and right. This continued well inside of 6 minutes. Several timeouts but no substitutions. Lue let that unit struggle. Seemed very intentional to me.

No way LeBron (or Jr or Kyrie or Love) stays out that long if the
win really matters.

That's all my point was.

So did anyone else see the article from CBS Sports about Lue & the GM sitting LBJ down and having a long discussion with him about his "curious" behavior? I saw it on Flipboard.

I didn't know that during their loss to the Heat on Sat that he stood on the sidelines talking and laughing with Wade instead of warming up with his team. Apparently that's what sparked the need for the conversation.
