On a related note, the truth is the Pacers' Hickory jerseys were cute for about 1 quarter ... that was a long time ago.

A lot of times, other players "man up" when they are missing their best players. Often guys play much better when the team depends on them to score vs. when they look to others.

Tony Allen did that last week vs. the Cavs.

I think that is Kevin Love's shooting issues right now. (he is looking/thinking about others) If they needed him to score .. if he was their main scorer like in Minny -- I think he would be shooting a higher percentage. (I notice stuff like that even in our local leagues -- guys shoot better when team needs them to score.)

I hope the East playoffs stay the way they are. Only difference I would like to see is Chicago and Indy swap positions. If that happens the first round would look like this:
